Account Manager - 12 Month FTC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To manage the Reebok brand account base, within the North/Field of England in an efficient, effective and profitable manner.  Ensuring budgets, distribution, SOB & SOS, are in line with company expectation with strong in store executions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve company, team, individual commercial objectives:
  • Account budget.  Yearly, phased, forward and daily
  • Company KPI measurements
  • Trade Investment – management and execution
  • Drive market share, by customer, by category in line with company target through gender, FCU and category by account
  • Design, plan, agree and implement by account:
    • Commercial plan
    • Sales plan
    • Marketing plan
    • Service plan
    • SWB monitor
  • Develop and implement the sales strategies in line with the company goals, which deliver the required results
  • Manage and continually monitor your accounts adherence to the adidas Group DTP and segmentation policy.
  • To establish a collaborative, cooperative team culture and fulfilment of company values
  • Genuine, Inventive, Responsible, Committed, Respectful, Fun, Winners

 

KPI’s

  • As a member of the sales team, the account manager is responsible for the achievement of sales targets – units, volume and profit, and brand image and positioning in key identified independent retailers. 
  • As a member of the sales team, effectively contribute to the development of sales strategies and plans, which meet current and future business needs, and in line with agreed financial targets and profit
  • Implement sales plans and objectives, which deliver agreed targeted levels of business volume and profit by account.
  • Achieve the sales strategies objectives/goals
  • To ensure team and individual performance, achieving KPI’s
  • Continually review and deliver against the Field Sales minimum standards

 

Authorities:

  • Manage personal costs, T&E etc
  • Manage the margin mix by line
  • Improve ongoing the service and cost on supply chain efficiencies
  • Manage costs of ‘daily business’ by account

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive sales experience within the sales selling ideally in an industry similar to sports. 
  • All sales standards and targets must have been consistently achieved.

 

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience  of working in a sales position
  • Ideally with a proven knowledge of the Retail /Sports/Fashion Market place
  • Excellent Negotiation, Selling and Presenting Skills

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  •  
  • Excellent English
  • University degree in business with  marketing and sales focus
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (all advanced)
