Concept to Consumer Specialist Reebok

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Create and define range architecture across LENA channels & category in line within global guidelines. Lead and run the merchandise planning process of LENA for all channels, guaranteeing integrity of the numbers and alignment with the counterparts involved.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Functional:

  • Working closely with EM HUB BU and define number of articles allocated (total, per price brackets, per concepts, per channel, per category, per gender, per channels/KA) and product allocation (segmentation) guidelines for LENA. including SMU, Promo.
  • Drive CTC plans within LENA through the local CTC (e.g. concept merchandising and allocation cross-channel, by account, city and key doors).
  • Ensure and analyse uptake of LENA GFR, GLS, MSL, MFR, Range overlap and future targets.
  • Create the LENA Omni-Channel range framework, including range sizing.
  • Deploy Global CTC concepts across predefined LENA distribution roadmap: plan concept merchandising and allocation, cross-channel and cross-category, by account/ city/ destination doors.
  • Collaborate with MOPS to provide Market Concepts-To-Consumer process calendars (key milestones, deliverables) to ensure optimum work with EM HUB.
  • Collaborate with the BUs and their teams to understand category strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide range architecture inputs into EM CTC.
  • Facilitate all Market operational inputs to the Global Brand and CTC organizations.
  • Monitor concept deployment execution including customer allocation and refine range segmentation strategy (If needed).
  • Set aligned LENA pricing strategy and margins.
  • Create a seasonal / phasing framework aligned to consumer consumption peaks and category launch requirements.
  • Closely co-operate with Global and EM HUB Brand Teams (most importantly CTC, CTC Merchandising, Marketing Directors and Sales Product Planning) to secure a best practice level of implementation of global brand and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with LENA Demand Planning team and SCM functions as appropriate and support IBP inputs.
  • Understand the LENA consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies.
  • Monitors sell out KPI´s of the company, to better understand business performances and suggest actions based on facts.
  • Develop “what if “scenarios regarding tactical action and present to the head of department to suggest initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Work closely with the VM team for arriving at the option plan at planning levels.
  • Drive and meet all GTM calendar deadlines for LENA for input to EM & Global CTC

  • Previous experience in Category Management or Merchandising/ Ranging/ SMU / Sales
  • Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Fluent in English

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in business preferred, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising Experience or account marketing / sales: +3 years.
