Digital Category Manager, Float

Purpose (Brief summary of why role exists):
US Ecommerce Category Management
The Manager of the Float Icon for US eComm is a key position within the US eCommerce Category Team.
As the activations lead for Float, our premier running technology, you will be a steward of the business and
are ultimately tasked with accelerating Float growth through full price activations. This person needs to
be analytical, strategic, collaborative and have a passion for product and driving sales.

You will be responsible for building the US Ecommerce category and activation calendar for all Float
product launches and for executing against each activation (inclusive of any partnerships, assets, and
campaigns). You will cross-functionally partner with all relevant marketing functions while developing the
activation strategy. You will also drive the digital content creation by briefing in the creative team on
campaign needs and you will execute the online merchandising strategy (i.e. category placements, filters,
search terms, etc.).

Float Squad
In this role, you will be the digital expert in the Reebok “Float Squad”. This squad is a cross-functional
team from across Reebok (i.e. product development, creative, digital, marketing, etc.). As the digital
expert, you will advise on campaign strategies to ensure that as a brand, we maximize Float’s full price
success at every point of distribution. You will be a key driver in creating a best-in-class digital experience
and story from the start of the creation process to how it translates throughout the full funnel. As a squad
member, you will have high visibility to senior members of the Reebok team and your input is critical in
delivering growth for the company.

Key Accountabilities :

US Ecommerce:

  • Create holistic full price activation strategy for the Float Icon
  • Manage implementation and execution of digital content in alignment to the business strategy
  • Coordinate with channel owners to create and drive campaign content and copy briefs for Creative team
  • Drive US eComm merchandising strategy and ensure execution for Float products
  • Ensure product readiness (PDP’s, inventory, copy and image, metadata) for product launches
  • Identify activation opportunities in order to optimize and maximize product performance


  • Be the digital functional expert within the Squad
  • Advise squad members on digital first approach and execution
  • Influence the Squad leader vision
  • Represent the consumer through your function
  • Bring data in order to deliver data driven decision-making

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce category management and/or merchandising
  • Strong knowledge of digital brand commerce
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to take a project from concept through to execution
  • Great management and organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Great communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

  • 3+ years of digital category management or digital activation experience


  • 3+ years of digital merchandising or digital marketing experience
  • Graduate (Bachelors or equivalent) or post graduate degree
