Purpose:

The Strategy Team works cross functionally to deliver one Brand Strategy.  We are future focused and bring external perspectives to teams to drive new thinking and support decision making for future impact as well as current. We help teams plan work to achieve the goals of the brand, both strategically and financially

The Brand Strategy Senior Manager will lead and drive creation of global strategic plans leveraging internal and external factors such as competitor, consumer, market, industry assessments.  Drive and lead execution of seasonal brand and product strategies in alignment with overall company initiatives. This dynamic individual will collaborate cross functionally to create and execute the Reebok vision.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Research future trends and shape seasonal guidelines to kick off the Seasonal Planning process including prep and deliverables for key strategy milestones, and guard execution.   
  • Inspire and provoke new approaches and forward thinking among senior leadership by sharing innovative external practices and connections
  • Create frameworks and business constructs to work cross functionally and ensure alignment with overall company strategy initiatives 
  • Drive identification of 2+ years new business growth ideas ranging from category or product opportunities, marketing opportunities or digital opportunities
  • Lead the organization with data-driven insights to drive strategic choices
  • Develop cross category strategies and create multi season roadmap plans to manage complex issues like Sustainability, Purpose and Innovation.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
  • Experience in strategic planning and business plan development including analytical skills, presentation development and project planning.
  • Ability to translate data and insights into action and drive clarity and consensus around decisions
  • Manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: senior leadership, finance, creative direction, global brand strategy, product marketing, communications and markets
  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, balance multiple stakeholders deliver high quality results on time

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Master Degree / MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience with consumer brand companies or management consulting preferred
  • Must have strong powerpoint skills, ability to storyboard and logical structure
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
