Specialist, eCommerce Operations (Reebok)

The eCommerce Operations Specialist will address the Reebok consumer experience on eCommerce properties and ensure that the most comprehensive experience is delivered to visitors. This role is primarily responsible for the consumer journey, platform operations, site merchandising and conversion driving efforts for the Reebok AU and NZ sites.

 

Purpose:

 

The Specialist, eCom Operations Reebok will manage the Reebok consumer experience on eCommerce properties and ensure that the most comprehensive experience is delivered to visitors. This role is primarily responsible for the consumer journey, platform operations, site merchandising and conversion driving efforts for the Reebok AU and NZ sites.

 

This person will work in a cross-functional environment with a focus on customer service, 3PL, brand marketing and eCom payments to deliver an industry leading experience. This will be achieved with a focus on managing the eCommerce platform tools and the supporting infrastructure, and driving and influencing any supporting efforts (Brand, CS, 3PL, Payments) both on and offsite.

 

Additionally, the Specialist, eCommerce Operations plays a key role in supporting the daily and monthly sales forecasting and re-forecasting process to ensure wider business objectives are met.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • •           Drive daily forecasting across all key metrics and play a key role in the daily, weekly, monthly forecasting process with Finance, Marketing and Supply ChainA constant improvement of site usability in order to drive revenue and site performance, e.g. through conversion optimisation strategies and insights
  • •            Support testing of systems as required for maintenance and development purposes and resolution of technical issues with support of the eCommerce Operations team
  • •            Use of business insights to drive best practice and market trends and implementation of recommendations driven from these insights.
  • •            Foster an effective working relationship with all internal departments (including Supply Chain, Consumer Service and Brand/Digital Marketing) to optimise BAU
  • •            Ownership of Pre-Season on-site merchandising activities and In-Season on-site merchandising activities with support of the eCommerce Operations team
  • •            Establish Pacific specific functionality requirements to support development of roadmap and provide input into roadmap on these topics with a focus on continuous optimisation
  • •            Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers to drive off-site revenue and conversion efforts via affiliates and referral sites
  • •            Liaise with Local and Global Operations teams and plan readiness for peak seasonal periods and key market moments.
  •               Other duties, as required.

 

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • •            A high degree of computer literacy and strong data analysis skills; the ability to work in numerous applications at one time and to correlate information from one application to the next, including a basic understanding of different file formats.
  • •            Experience with CMS and OMS systems, a fundamental understanding of interface files and systems architecture commonly used in eCommerce operations. Experience working with OMS, such as SAP AFS.
  • •            A commercial, results-driven background and a demonstrable history of forecasting financial KPIs.
  • •            A clear understanding of the business levers (Traffic, Conversion Rate and Average Order Value) which impact eCommerce commercial success and how to positively impact each of these and a solid understanding of digital performance marketing, affiliate marketing and SEO.
  • •            The candidate must be self-directed, have strong influencing skills to and be able to work independently in a highly flexible and informally structured environment.
  • Exemplary multi-tasking, planning and time management skills are a necessity.
  • •            Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and to find creative solutions to improve and drive performance, and to advocate for the eCom channel to the wider business.
  • •            An excellent command, both oral and written, of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively and to influence internal and external stakeholders positively.
  • •            A clear understanding of best-in-class digital consumer/visitor experience and a continually evolving perspective on the optimal consumer journey.
  • •            A sound understanding of current and emerging eCommerce technologies and their on-site application.
  • •            A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is expected.
  • •            Intermediate experience with major web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics/Omniture).

 

 

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

 

•            A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field

•            Working knowledge of the footwear & apparel and/or sports & fitness industry an asset

  •   •             A minimum of 3 years experience working in a major eCommerce or digital marketing organization

•            Experience working in a cross-functional, matrix (global) organization

•            At least 3 years’ experience working on site optimization, enhancement or merchandising
