Sr. Manager Back Office Retail Operations, Administration & Events - (6 month LTD)

We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Back Office Retail Ops, Administration and Events for a 6 month LTD opportunity. This individual will Manage and execute various projects and initiatives in support of the US Retail market. Additionally, they will manage the overall coordination and alignment of priority projects with relevant stakeholders across various Brand functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage projects and proposals for Reebok’s VP of Retail by prioritizing projects, performing research, following up with involved parties, and identifying the appropriate course of action, referral, or response. Develop and implement planning and project management process to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Perform business and operational analyses to support senior management in fact-based decision making.
  • Drive and monitor progress of Change Management and People strategies for the head office and global brands organization, in close cooperation with HR.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the collaboration culture in the Head Office team.
  • Facilitate and coordinate Brand leadership meetings, with duties including advance agenda preparation, collecting, and organizing relevant information from necessary parties, preparation of needed documents, communication of meeting expectations of all involved parties, and creating/following up on action items and agreements.
  • Own preparation for meetings with duties including Agenda preparation, document creation, and collecting and organizing relevant information from necessary parties.
  • Manage communications for Reebok’s Vice President of Retail including the creation of memos, planning, and support for quarterly meetings.
  • Manage on-site, high volume, quick turn retail events at locations throughout North America driving profitability and brand loyalty.
  • Set event timelines that include logistics scheduling, manpower planning, and event setup/tear down.
  • Strong, consistent information feeds to department leaders regularly as to event progress, daily reporting of sales figures, wins, and opportunities on a timely basis to a pre-determined distribution list via email.
  • Create and manage event agendas.  Partner with other Event team members to set official schedules and KPI’s to effectively measure sales, margin, labor, and contribution at each event as the on-site manager.
  • Meet and exceed established KPI’s to ensure process-oriented events exceed targeted goals.
  • Plan meetings, including but not limited to, arrangements for facilities, catering, AV equipment, agendas, scheduling materials preparation and other related service.
  • Perform administrative support services to VP of Retail as needed such as: meeting schedules and facilitation, travel arrangements, calendar, shipping, expense reports, and other services.
  • Attend functions in lieu of VP of Retail.

  • B2B Opportunities and Partnership relationships for sales and events
  • Communication Strategy within the Department

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess strong operational and analytical skills, with a strategic and action-oriented mind-set
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of people (C suite to interns), build relationships, be diplomatic, and exhibit sensitivity to and understanding of the dynamics of a complex organization
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Able to synthesize complex and diverse data to formulate actionable business cases and recommendations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality required
