3D Product Developer APP - DC E2E

Focus Area of Contribution & Strategic Relevance:


Digital Creation E2E is a strategic board program under the digital umbrella building the must-have adidas creation infrastructure of the future. Focus is to digitize the end-to-end creation-to-shelf value chain covering marketing, creation, sourcing (supplier integration) and sell-in.

It is an integral part of adidas strategy “Own the Game”



Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


This is a key in-house position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented future leader who is able to support the creation teams in readiness for Digital Creation E2E transformation.


  • Run the business implementation of requested DC E2E product development process and tools within Apparel, ensuring to deliver all targets.
  • Onboard and train creation teams in the digital Tool chain and process across all Business Units in our Creation Center Asia.
  • Act as an Digital ambassador within the creation communities across divisions and drive the process and tool adoption.
  • Drive the implementation of Digital (3D) quality standards aligned with DC E2E, ensuring to deliver the best output to interact with Key Accounts and Consumer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and  deliver trainings to upskill Product Development, Pattern Makers and Material Developer
  • Support the creation Teams across BU’S during peak times with 3D file creation, pattern enhancement and managing the PLM system to ensure the business targets.
  • Audit digital quality guidelines ensuring creation teams achieve required standards
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure they are fed back into the business for future development.
  • Engineering design concepts into the format of Clo file content of patterns and fit, garment workmanship and print or AOP execution for T1.
  • Drive increase in speed and efficiency of processes by teaching the eliminating of non-value adding steps and land digital execution against“Right the First Time”
  • Understands and considers relationship between pattern/material/features and usage/yields including 2D/3D models and digitally created styles
  • Evaluate physical to digital work processes and calendars for improvements in close communication with Product Development, Pattern, MDI, Marketing, Design & T1.
  • Leads Digital Pattern projects, including tool development and smart solutions to enable the future of Digital Creation.
  • Support testing of new technologies/tools/solutions prior to implementation.

  • Support projects partnering with stakeholders of the creation community
  • Support in upskilling and training concepts and timelines with relevant stakeholders
  • Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions
    • Designers
    • Product creation functions
    • Design Operations Directors
    • GOPS (incl. ACT, Sourcing, T1s)
    • IT
  • Be part of a larger digital transformation hub, holistically driving digital transformation at adidas


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Soft skills:

  • Experience in working with creative teams either in Apparel

Hard skills:

  • Proficient in 3D Apparel design and CAD tools (CLO, VStitcher, Gerber, Lectra)
  • Experienced in Garment Creation, Fittings
  • High level of technical proficiency to communicate and train teams  
  • Understanding of business process management, methodologies, and principles


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Between 3-5 years of relevant work experience in digital apparel creation
  • Basics 3D knowledge and  tools like Blender/ Modo a plus
  • University or relevant industry degree
  • Fluent in English
