We are seeking a professional with deep expertise in the Europe Order Book Management process area for the TRANS4RM Rollout in Europe. In this role, you will represent the entire business functional area and assume accountability for identifying and bridging gaps between the current operational systems and processes and the future TRANS4RM operational template. Your leadership will be pivotal in harmonizing, standardizing, and elevating future processes during the rollout within your designated business process area. Moreover, you will assume a critical role in conveying best practices, ensuring the acceptance of solutions and granting approval for the market's future state.

 

The ideal candidate is a distinguished Business Process Expert with a profound understanding of business processes within the Europe Order Book Management Your expertise enables you to swiftly discern similarities and gaps between the current 'as-is' processes and the envisioned 'to-be' processes, enabling effective collaboration with relevant experts and seeking their input efficiently. This skill set is fundamental for steering effective decision-making and ensuring the successful implementation of TRANS4RM. 

 

Location can be Amsterdam or Herzogenaurach!

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: 
The TRANS4RM program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies, including data driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. With the TRANS4RM Business Transformation we are creating the digital foundation from which we will deliver a premium customer and consumer experience across all channels (Wholesale, Retail, eCom). This role will be part of the 24-36-month transformation program and support implementation of the new ERP system, SAP S/4 HANA for Market Europe (3 clusters – 8 zones – 29 countries) within the respective workstream area. 

 

Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
 

Ownership of Business Processes:

  • Take responsibility for Order Book Management across Market Europe, demonstrating expertise in current processes and conducting analysis for future process gaps.
  • Exercise the highest local decision-making authority for approving the Transform template for future operational process (future template sign-off).

 

Alignment with Business Objectives:

  • Drive alignment and harmonization of business objectives and critical requirements - comprehensively - with the future operational set up.

 

Overall project support

  • Collaborate with the workstream lead to set function/workstream objectives, develop detailed work breakdown structures with concrete activities, milestones, roles & responsibilities and defined KPIs.
  • Facilitate the formulation of the business case for Global Template deviation for Order Book Management

 

Information Gathering and Gap Analysis:

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Assessment team to gather comprehensive as-is information, take on the role of a process authority, and lead in the collection and assurance of feedback from fellow team members.
  • Achieve a profound understanding of the future model, identifying Europe-specific process gaps, operational prerequisites, and critical business imperatives.
  • Feedback and Impact Assessment:
  • Provide sophisticated feedback on business operations and assess the impact of market processes and operations for the change TRANS4RM brings.

 

Engagement with Local Experts:

  • Engage and consult with local subject matter experts - leverage interactions and provide counsel to local subject matter experts and key stakeholders as required.

 

Harmonization and Standardization:

  • Lead harmonization, standardization, and process improvement efforts during roll-out.


Market-to-Be Solutions:

  • Sign off on market-to-be solutions, including design and configuration.


Transition planning, risk mitigation and temporary process definition: 

  • Evaluate & identify areas within Order Book Management that will be impacted in a phased go live.
  • Anticipate potential losses and develop proactive strategies for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with relevant department to design and implement temporary processes when needed.

Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related areas.
  • Deep understanding of the Order Book Management Europe organization.
  •  Minimum of 8+ years of work experience in Order Book Management with experience in process management or process improvement.
