Assistant Manager, Assortment Planning (Mono-Brand Channel), APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • DRIVE assortment plan creation across Business Units (product categories), Channel, Store Format and Market to ensure brand and channel KPI achievement

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Create the Specific Channel Assortment plan from the APAC Range Management Team’s range within the channel range architecture(RA) framework using historical data, market trends, competitor intel, global strategy that best meets the needs across the market
  • Analysis of the Top Sellers by market, channel, store format country, division, gender, product type on a monthly basis and ensure like for like product is in every assortment plan
  • Be the key point of contact for relevant CTC Country contact to receive country/channel/customer feedback and intel
  • Provide regular & key milestone input to APAC Range Management Team & APAC Brand Activation Team to ensure market and country needs are reflected
  • Work across categories to pick the optimal range for the consumer, considering best product and stories for specific channel as the #1 priority
  • Fully understand pricing across market and support price harmonization

  • Efficiency KPIs (overlap, hit rate, …)

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to implement strategy
  • Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandising/product, marketing, sales/retail required. Regional experience preferred.
  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing, MBA preferred
  • Previous experience in managing a global matrix organization required
  • Sporting goods industry experience required
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in local language (if applicable) preferred
