Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Operations & Inventory Management

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Manage and work with 3PL Distribution Center (DC) teams to pick, pack, and ship deliveries as well as return handling to the agreed service levels so as to meet or exceed customer expectations
Inventory management with a target to maintain the highest accuracy & integrity
Manage and drive the latest updated SOP (physical and IT system flow)  

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Work with and manage 3PL DC teams to meet daily requirements of all customers’ demand from internal stock movement, picking, packing, till delivery to the final destination as well as return handling.
  • Responsible for monthly/weekly capacity planning, maintaining agreed on DC SLAs & KPIs, overtime alignment with the Head of Department
  • Responsible for DC Outbound, Returns & Inventory management SOP
  • Responsible for return management by monitoring return backlogs for all channels and working with the 3PL team to plan resources for on-time return processing
  • Manage B2B transporter & B2C LMD SLA. Collaborate with stakeholders for monthly performance review & focus on areas of improvement needed
  • Self-initiate making continuous improvements in process/system and proactively drive cost-saving initiatives
  • Work closely with SEA hub team to support the implementation of new consumer-centric initiative, process & project

 

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain inventory integrity by working with the 3PL team through effective cycle counting plan and full count, ensure result within stock lost target; strict adherence of established procedures within 3PL and adidas policies.
  • Manage and monitor order cancellation rate, short pick orders. Proactively work with the 3PL team for process improvement to maintain stock accuracy
  • Responsible for daily stock reconciliation between SAP & WMS, to resolve snapshot discrepancies on time, raise IT tickets due to system issues, and consistent follow-ups till closure
  • Responsible for all aspects of stock adjustment. Stock write-off to be performed on time & accurately in both WMS & SAP. Keep track of stock lost amount & quantity
  • Responsible for slow-moving and tail SKUs clearance management

 

Supply-Chain Management Related:

  • Organize monthly KPI review meetings with the 3PL team, take lead to address operation challenges with feasible solutions
  • Communicate effectively with all peers; both Internal & External Stakeholders ensuring that short-term targets are achieved, necessary long-term improvements are shared and aligned
  • Oversee the timely submission of Flash reports with a high level of accuracy
  • Responsible for APAC Dashboard data submission and being the backup person for SCM-related reporting
  • E2E packaging material management and to minimize operating cost
  • Responsible for invoice verifications before submission to Finance team
  • Oversee Inbound operation in the absence of Head of Department
  • Perform any other roles or duties assigned by Sr Manager which is deemed reasonable, practical, and logical

 

 

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management or related field
  • Minimum 4 years work experience in logistics operations, preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations process, familiarity with SAP & WMS would be a plus
  • Good sense of customer service; strong consumer-centric mindset, and excellent communications
  • PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
