Assistant Manager, eCommerce

Purpose/ Mission:

Support Sr Manger, eCommerce to build and drive the revenue growth of adidas eCommerce along with:

  • Living the vision set by Global eCom team: “to become the premium destination through an innovative shopping experience” on both dot.com & DPC
  • Implementing and adopting Omnichannel & Consumer centric approach in doing things
  • Bridging the relationship effectively the country direction & SEA eComm strategies
  • The role is that of a country specific eCom generalist working very closely with SEA eCom team

 

Accountabilities:

Onsite Merchandising & Inventory Management

  • Support the achievement of eCom/financial KPIs and commercial targets by keeping an optimal assortment mix across product division, age group, gender, key category clusters, and clearance/aged in both eCom 3PL DC and enabler DC.
  • Implementing range roll out & relevant marketing activation for product launches within agreed dates
  • Ensuring eCom pricing, distribution & mark-downs are in compliance with market specific guidelines
  • Coordinating acquisition of relevant product contents locally
  • Manage in-season trading & support country go-to-market plans with SEA eCom team and country commercial & marketing team.
  • Keep eCom inventory levels healthy (MOH) within eCom 3PL DC and adidas Central DC through periodic stock cleansing and timely movement to appropriate platforms i.e. e-Marketplaces for aged stocks.
  • Review periodically sell-through performances of campaigns and in-season products; insights here supports decision and guidance on stock movement and overall inventory management.

 

.com + app

  • Provide the details on monthly content load submission for .com, driven by the Masterdata team at SEA hub: pricing, price change, discount exclusions, block list, HLDs, etc. to support campaign launches and BAU selling
  • Create regular stock transfer from eCom Central DC to 3PL eCom DC to replenish and keep DC fully stocked. This supports the ATP inventory of what would be published on .com site + app. Manage perfect and defective returns from eCom 3PL DC back to Central DC

 

e-Marketplaces

  • Create the SKU list for monthly content creation submission for enabler/marketplace to support the Marketplace team at SEA hub
  • Work with aLS admin on the enabler side to maintain enabler DC fully stocked based on storage capacity, while keeping an optimal assortment mix to support mega events and BAU on partner e-marketplaces

 

Analytics & Reporting

  • Support eCom Head in consistent sales reporting, data analysis and reporting programs. This includes all relevant reports on merchandising, stock & inventory, financials, order management, etc – both in-country and at the hub
  • Analyse KPIs and create historical comparison to measure progress and achievement. To keep all these updated and tracked on a daily / weekly basis, or as needed.
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting to the eCom and relevant country team for key milestones: Business Reviews, Buying Reviews, GTM Sign-off, etc.
  • Develop best practice guidance for continuous business improvement

 

Digital E2E Operations, Fulfillment & CS

  • Monitor website, app, for any red flags, issues, and raise support to relevant teams. Regular review of FAQs and T&C onsite
  • Manage the order fulfillment process to ensure the success of order processing, on-time delivery and return; ensure orders are converted to support commercial target achievement
  • Order backlog management and last-mile delivery tracking
  • Provide support to omnichannel fulfillment (Ship-From-Store in Retail) as needed
  • Work closely with Warehouse team on prepare action plans on peak days / sale events
  • Act as primary point of contact from adidas Vietnam and works closely with customer service partner to provide relevant information; support resolving complaints, consumer management, to help maintain NPS and consumer sentiment. Support escalation Sr eCom Manager as needed

 

Admin & P&L tracking

  • Maintaining finance tracker to keep track of PO raising, invoicing and recharging activities /// only Markets players
  • Market costs for proper accrual of costs to their local finances
  • Support the invoicing process and work with finance to ensure timely payment to the vendors /// only Market players

 

Project management (support)

  • Support role in SEA eCom project roll outs/ or other local initiatives (UAT, DRY runs & Market preparation).
  • Coordinate change management at the country level after direction provided from Hub (trainings, new processes, new systems, new WOW etc…)

 

Market Intelligence

  • Provide up-to-date relvant market insights / competitions (market research, data etc…)
  • Research and identify new business opportunities in country - including growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships,  or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Market scouting on counterfeit, non-authorized & escalation.  Keep the marketplace trust & safety levels by flagging to IP team and relevant platform on counterfeit products and grey market goods, that potentially harms the brand, and leads to unpleasant consumer experience

 

Professional background/ Experience:

 

Functional:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Management or relevant qualification
  • At least 4 years of product management, marketing or data science, analytics, statistics, merchandising in a retail environment Exposure eCommerce business is highly preferred
  • Exposure to merchandising & brand communication aspects is essential
  • Excellent English communication skills both oral & written
