Assistant Manager Consumer Acquisition & CRM

General Purpose  

As an Assistant Manager Consumer Acquisition & CRM at adidas you are contributing to drive Consumer Engagement activations and initiatives to increase the number of new consumers for adidas within the European market. Within this new role in the team, you will mainly focus on a new strategic area within adidas, which is acquiring consumers that are interested in buying football team kits.  

 

We are looking for an all-round CRM expert that will support and execute the acquisition strategy as well as supporting the CRM team to send the most relevant communication to our consumers. Your day-to-day activities will evolve around acquiring the best quality leads and driving CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT to retain our consumers and increase their brand loyalty. The ideal candidate would also be able to combine a brand long term outlook while contributing to increasing our short term needs.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities   

Scope: Contribute to growing the database of known consumer and hands-on execution of personalized email marketing campaigns in Europe  

Plan Creation & Execution  

  • Coordinate campaign conception & CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT integration   

  • Brief campaign pages and assets to capture leads  

  • Coordinate with the Consumer Data Protection team the legal compliance of data capture campaigns  

  • Ensure campaigns pages are correctly tagged for reporting purposes   

  • QA & Testing on Lead Generation campaigns Traffic generation on campaign pages by using several marketing channels  

  • Provide Input & assistance in the creation of acquisition plans designed to maximize lead generation   

  • Provide input and assistance with the creation of newsletter campaigns 

  • Support on lead-nurturing program based on prospects profiles   

  • Support the execution of projects e.g. reporting, presentations, workshops etc.  

  

Continuous Improvement & Success Measurement   

  • Understand type of consumer and improve acquisition and CRM tactics to drive successful campaigns 

  • Monitor and analyze respective consumer data capture practices. Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to finding respective solutions.  

  • Continuously try to improve signup experiences by conducting A/B tests, in close collaboration with experience optimization team. 

  • Participate in functional reviews involving all relevant stakeholders to collect appropriate feedback and define/enrich a backlog of improvements.  

  • Improvement opportunities and contribute to finding solutions to improve email communication. 

  • Monitor defined success KPIs. Optimize implementations based on results and insights.

Requirements  

  • 2+ years of experience in a Digital, CRM and/or eCommerce environment  

  • Basic knowledge in Consumer Engagement domain  

  • Hands-on experience with CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT / Digital marketing / Data Capture tactics  

  • Experience in managing highly complex processes, involving multiple teams in different geographies  

  • Experience in product management and/or working using agile/SCRUM methodologies   

 

Soft-Skills  

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners  

  • Good communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely  

  

Hard-Skills  

  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies  

  • Project management and project monitoring experience is a plus  

  • Knowledge of process optimization methodologies (LEAN, 6Sigma, etc…) is a plus  

  • Fluent English both verbally and written
