Assistant Manager Data Analytics APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Deliver cutting-edge analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive consistent sales reporting, data analysis and reporting programs.
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting to the APAC Wholesale department.
  • Develop best practice guidance and provide them to markets in your scope of responsibility and other adidas stakeholders to maximize the use of analytics capabilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate implementation of analytics toolset, ensuring consistency of data quality.
  • Sell-out data ownership (in sync with DNA team to ensure no duplication of efforts)
  • Support other business stakeholders and country/cluster as needed.
  • Sell-out data ownership and business analytics (in sync with retail to ensure no duplication of efforts)

  • Global: Global Wholesale, Global Biz Dev., Global IT, Global DTC, Global GTM Functions, Global HR
  • Markets/Countries/Clusters: Managing Directors, General Managers, Country Managers, Sales Directors, Biz. Dev. Heads, BU Heads, CTC Heads, Heads of KA / Field / Fashion / BP&O / Customer Service, KAMs, Sales Coordination Managers and Biz. Dev. Managers


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High degree of commercial knowledge and business acumen
  • Operational experience in Customer Service, Sales, Fulfillment, Sales Coordination
  • Broad SAP SD knowledge, FICO a plus
  • Strong understanding of wholesale processes and KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation)
  • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination
  • Basic to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
  • Understanding of the Asia Pacific market landscape


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree with focus on Sales / Marketing / Commerce
  • Business: 3+ year experience in international SGI and/or FMCG company
  • Functional: 2+ year experience in sales analytics
  • Cross-functional experience ideally in Marketing / Sales / Finance / Operations / SCM
