Assistant Manager Digital Analytics

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As part of the Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) department, the Partner Development team is responsible for enhancing the adidas digital experience on our Partner’s platforms to drive digital sales & market share. The Assistant Manager Digital Analytics role will be critical in supporting the creation of standardized reporting, surfacing & blending required data from various sources, provide the team with ad hoc analysis with the overall goal of using data & insights to drive business decisions. We’re looking for a talented analyst and cross-functional partner who can identify opportunities and work through evolving challenges in an effective and collaborative way. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and execute daily, weekly and monthly digital reporting for the wholesale organization team to drive both in-season opportunities and future season planning.
  • Prepare recommendations and alternatives based on analysis of our partner’s digital businesses in order to grow sales and market share.
  • Support Partner Development Analytics team by sourcing, manipulating, joining and cleaning various datasets from 1st and 3rd party sources.
  • Support Digital Analytics Managers by providing necessary datasets, analytics and collaboration to drive action-oriented insights.
  • Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analysis to inform the team on current and future business trends and present findings.
  • Perform end-to-end analyses on business-critical problems and present findings and clear recommendations on solutions.
  • Work with local analytics and IT org to identify data deficiencies and create solutions.
  • Train and support business partners empowering them to make autonomous data-driven decisions. 
  • Provide assistance in identifying, reporting and resolving technical reporting related issues
  • Create, manage and improve data visualization dashboards to support business objectives and enable business partners to make data-driven decisions.
  • Support cross functional, strategic projects as needed
  • Liaison with global eCom analytics to share best practices and keep team informed of initiatives.

  • Ability to manipulate large data sets, in various formats to create dataset, reporting and generate insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across organization functions and levels.
  • Expert Excel skills.
  • High degree of flexibility and comfort with managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and collaborate within a complex, ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with strong planning and organization skills.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and pragmatic approach to localizing and developing concepts, tools, processes and systems.
  • Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders

  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to assemble data, interpret, craft executive summaries and deliver business insights.


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience in R Studio, Python, SQL or other coding languages
  • Degree from college/university in computer science, analytics or other technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated ability with data visualization tools (Tableau) a plus
  • eCommerce and or omnichannel experience a plus
