Assistant Manager HR

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Supports and assists  the Senior Director HR in planning, executing and tracking small- to medium-sized HR initiatives as well as communication tasks, administrative activities and event management to ensure quality service to the business in GCA.  This includes operating within the data available and apply modern analytical methods and tools to generate actionable insights from our HR data.  

Assist Senior HR Business Partners to support a people eco system around moments that matter – delivering value at every touchpoint and provide HR service and support to defined business area. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Support the rollout and consolidation of all global and functional HR programs and calendar for Greater China Global Functions in coordination with the HR Business Partners locally and in Headquarter. 
•    Support with HR Data and Reporting requests or projects and help turning people data into actionable insights for the organization by delivering defined reportings. 
•    Build up and maintain a good working relationship with internal customers and ensure sufficient and aligned level of service to the employees of the assigned support area. 
•    Collaborate with HR counterparts in the operating model to ensure HR administrative and operational activities are managed and completed in a smooth and timely manner. 
•    Drive people data quality in order to enable accurate decision making on Global Sourcing level.  Ensure close alignment with GBS / OWM / HR Services to foster data accuracy.
•    Show and live the advancement of a data-driven culture within the teams and across the organization by exchanging ideas and solutions within the HR organization.
•    Support Line Manager to review and implement HR guidelines and policies according to local laws and regulations in compliance in HR practices and internal/external audits. 
•    Organize and carry out general administrative tasks, HR vendor/payment processing and other adhoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Line Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

•    Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner.
•    Effective written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making skills.
•    Customer oriented, approachable with strong interpersonal skills 
•    Affinity for systems, ideally SAP user knowledge
•    Good degree of analytical thinking
•    Strong quantitative and qualitative analytics skill

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 
•    University degree or equivalent (preferably main subject Human Resources Management) 
•    3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of HR
