Assistant Manager Platform eCommerce


  • The development of Platforms (Marketplace) is a key sales driver of our eCommerce business.
  • The role is the key point of contacts between adidas and Reebok on all Marketplace topics, responsible for driving the sales growth on platform marketplace and delivering one integrated consumer journey to create a premium and seamless experience.



  • Develop and execute an strong marketing and campaign calendar to gain new engaged consumers and to incentivize more purchase from existing consumers. 
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Director to identity opportunities in improving Marketplace effectiveness with data analysis for greater sales, profitablity and cnversion rates.
  • Secure the sales performance in line with goals and highlight deviations.
  • Drive and pilot Marketplace sales and implement optimizations: highlighting any products that are not performing and discussing improvements with partner.
  • Analyze platform merchandising to develop platform merchandising strategy and plan for platform assortment to meet each channel’s requirements for future improvements.
  • Continuously monitor the inventory across defined channels to secure the sales growth under healthy stock level and co-work with merchandising for timely and planned replenishement.
  • Coordinate implementation of marketing activations with operation partners (TP). Effectively manage the TP to deliver quality results in varied aspects including IT, operation, warehouse, fulfillment and customer service.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new collections into the platform product portfolio.
  • Manage the product content for Marketplace.
  • Monitor logistic performance in compliance with SLAs.
  • Create and maintain internal processes to enable us to manage the business and cost optimization more efficiently.
  • Constantly adapt the reports and analysis to the further needs.
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for all Marketplace/TP related queries.



Internal: Retail, Wholesale, Retail Merchandising, Brand Activation, Supply Chain, Finance, IT.

External: Platforms, Operation partners (TP), creative agency and vendor.




  • eCommerce Marketplace experience and know-how, experience in retail is a plus.
  • Online merchandising knowledge and specific experience in digital strategy and execution.  
  • Ability to present technical results in a strong manner with clear action steps.
  • Analytical and independent problem-solving skill to moderate complex problems

  • Fluent spoken and written English.



  • University degree or above.
  • At least 5 years in eCom business, especially in sporting goods, FMCG or fashion industry.
  • Proven track record in platform management, digital strategy, planning and implementation.
  • Passion for eCommerce, fashion and sports.
