Assistant Manager eCom In Season Trading

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Responsible for managing merchandising operations, including timely arrival and on shelf of products, markdown execution, store/platform allocation, inventory management between on-line and off-line

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for managing merchandising operations
  • Monthly review the inventory of exclusive articles from off-line stores
  • Track the inventory status from off-line stores and adjust the planning due to return ratio
  • Monitor the sales performance and identify the future buy opportunity
  • Accountable for timely markdown for online events with close work with store managers and buying team
  • Maintain up-to-date non-discount product list and based on recent product sell through performance to suggest an optimal discount proposal, with the consideration of company guidance and inventory
  • Responsible for maintaining monthly promotion cadence among platforms and align company promotion period with platform cadence
  • Responsible for store/platform allocation
  • Accountable for inventory availability with good knowledge of operational functionalities per business demand
  • Coordinate with cross function team for inventory block/unblock cadence with promo calendar
  • Define buffer inventory for replenishment demand during key events

KPI:

  • Overall commercial targets of eCommerce China
  • Markdown accuracy: company promotion, off-season MD for Official Site & Platforms

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid experience of Merchandising operations
  • Good knowledge of all ecommerce channels/online marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and fact based orientation in decision making
  • Experienced in working cross-functional within international organization

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3+ year experience in merchandising or eCom operations; preferably with a background in sporting goods.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Fluent Business English
