Assistant Manager Business Support - IBP (temporary 12 months)

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The position holder play an integral part within the Integrated Planning - IBP Team by helping that the application is launched and ongoingly usable for the markets and global teams and that potential application issues are being resolved in time. The position holder supports ensures the markets responsible for what they are doing in the application and to educate them if their usage of the application is not done based on the rules. In addition, the position holder learns from the existing issues in order to give feedback to the product improvement team to efficiently improve the application and their usage rules at an ongoing basis

- The position holder supports to build and maintain a good relationship with the worldwide user community to make sure that all customer needs are visible and taken into consideration for future developments of the tool

- The position holder supports the creation of change requests and communicates the implemented change requests towards the markets

- The position holder is responsible to perform data reconciliations between the planning application SAC, GRAPE/CFIN/Group Reporting and Microstrategy/BI reporting

- The position holder is responsible to summarize information regarding master data changes and communicates towards the markets

- The position holder is responsible to provide information to resolve user issue requests and drives escalations if required

 

Overall Relevance for the Organization

The Team is running the Integrated Business Planning (IBP’ 25) Transformation Program with a go-live in 2022 as a company priority which should increase efficiency and effectiveness by fully integrating financial planning, simplifying seasonal category planning and includuding Inventory and Open to Buy planning. It has the goal to evolve the tool from a submission to a planning tool by establishing a clear planning collaboration model.

 

Business Partnering / Communication

- Assist the team to partner with the business within the assigned area of responsibility, i.e. partner with the IBP IT architect work stream of the IBP project to understand business prerequisites to drive sustainable system solution, as well as partner with market users to jointly drive roll-out and tool adaption

- Enable fact based decision making by creating transparency, i.e. providing different options for system solutions for the planning tool explaining implications / trade-offs to be considered in terms of functionality, cost and timing

- Actively participate in projects and support the implementation of results and sustainability achievements

- Support the implementation of adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, receommendations and solutions

- Prepare and perform Trainings on the current processes & toolsets

 

Innovation

- Check problems in existing systems or day-to-day processes

- Continuously give recommendations for the future development respective user stories (templates) based on the occurring issues within the application

 

Analysis/Reporting

- Execute variance analysis, standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis on project status

- Prepare the provision of solutions and contribute to the facilitation of decisions by structuring/analysing data and deriving the respectice recommendations

- Deliver documentation support as required

 

Functional Expertise

- Develop and provide expertise for assigned functional areas/system and processes towards team and business partners

- Grow into full ownership of assigned processes and systems, i.e. taking over responsibility of the operational demand planning tool

- Ensure smooth operation of the day to day business by taking ownership for related actions. Handels the business change request process

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

• Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficient spoken and written command of English 

• 1-2 year experience in a planning related area

• understanding of different cultures

• participated in projects with people from other functions/markets

• competence with various tools, procedures related to business planning
