Specialist, Operations (Inbound)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To drive and contribute to Inbound planning and work closely with Manager, Operations on overall IB planning, priorities and ensure on-time availability of products

Key Responsibilities:

Primary

1. Ensure daily shipment approval is done on a timely manner for shipment confirmation
2. Ensure good planning of product deliveries to 3PL warehouse to minimize port storage/ DEM&DET charges.
3. Ensure good consolidation planning of product deliveries to 3PL warehouse to achieve better fill rate with cost efficiency.
4. Monitoring & management of inbound capacity planning & hard launch date prioritization
5. Optimizing Inbound delivery performance with cost saving initiatives; provide visible product flow and status; strengthening processes and policies; leveraging systems.
6. To manage daily 3PL Warehouse inbound operations (adidas & adiGolf) are functioning safely with high level of accuracy, efficiency (cost & process) and productivity.
7. Ensuring good warehouse practices are continually maintained to make the “Best in Class” facility in the region.
8. Ensuring continuous creative improvement inbound process thru problem identification and problem analysis.
9. Be responsible for 3PL Warehouse, Freight Forwarder & Global KPIs Performance, analyze & identify areas of improvement.
10. Vigilant in being the gatekeeper in any deviation in process.
11. Constantly analyzing the “health” status of the inbound operations with the help of collected data.
12. Conduct regular audit check on 3PL process, documentation.

Secondary

13. Ensuring timely submission of Flash report with high level of accuracy and other reports assigned.
14. Updating of weekly incoming shipment report to 3PL for their storage capacity planning & posting of Inventory Status timely.
15. Coordination and Communication with “internal customers” with regards to Inbound activities.
16. Manage and control Inbound management activities in accordance to the Statement Of Work (SOW).
17. Timely submission or updating of reports assigned.
18. Conducting investigation for any inbound discrepancy. Compiling & responsible for claim submission to relevant parties on timely manner for inbound shortage / product loss or damaged.
19. On time verification & coding of inbound related invoices before submission for approval by Senior Manager, Operations.
20. To support Store Fixtures import shipment activities.
21. On time verification & coding of Inbound related invoices before submission for approval by Senior Manager, Operations.
22. Inter- support of outbound control & management in the absence of Outbound Associate. 
23. Perform any other roles or duties assigned by the Senior Manager, Operations, which is deemed reasonable, practical and logical.

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

Diploma in Logistics Management or related field

Minimum 3 years work experience in logistics operations, preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry

PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
