Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Ensure sustainable and profitable market share and net sales growth in the Strategic Account stream for SEE, while driving the positioning of all adidas brands by Wholesale distribution channels in line with the Europe Brand & Channel strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a long term Commercial Excellence strategy for the sales channel of responsibility, ensuring best representation of the adidas brands and maximizing profitability of the Strategic Channel of SEE
  • Develop assigned Key Accounts, tap full potential and manage all interfaces towards adidas respecting the framework set by the Sales Management team.
  • Establish professional & personal relationships with main decision takers of key customers as a prerequisite for making adidas the ‘preferred supplier’
  • Align annual and seasonal Go-To-Market strategy of the Strategic Channel working along with the marketing team  on strategic business & marketing plans
  • Set functional targets for the team aligned with Strategic channel priorities and SEE guidance.
  • Negotiate & implement trade terms according to the respective Europe/Global Wholesale policies
  • Set objectives, strategies, and tactics for customers based on their potential and strategic fit
  • Monitor competitors activities within our customers environment and propose win-win action plans to increase market shares
  • Organise and prepare sell-in customer meetings using the sell-in checklist, pre-selecting the range, offering sell-out support, based on our seasonal focus products, technologies and concepts
  • Visit customers regularly respecting the store visit checklist guidelines and monitoring the store audits, ensuring continuous improvement of the store audit results

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in Sales, in consumer goods industry ideally in sports/ apparel/ fashion/shoes or FMCG
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation, relationship management)
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. Business planning, strategic development)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office
