Product Owner

General Purpose 

 

As a Product Owner - Go To Market (GTM) you are responsible for the adoption and enablement of digital product capabilities in our markets, to maximize the value for our consumers. 

 
Partnering with Tech, managing enablement of capabilities and consulting of new functionalities & best practices, are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other Digital areas to drive consumer engagement and satisfaction, as well as incremental revenues out of delivering digital experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities  

 

Scope: Accountable for the adoption and enablement of complex digital products 

 

  1. Product Enablement & Adoption 

  • Be accountable for capability enablement in line with roadmaps and committed delivery dates. 

  • Be accountable for the successful adoption of global business capabilities, considering the value for the consumer and the company (ROI). 

  • Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery.  

  • Coordinate interfaces between different product teams in your area of responsibility. 

  • Support Markets with validation/initial implementation of the capabilities. 

  • Ensure E2E super users are involved in testing, QA and UAT. 

  • Provide End user training, support and monitoring. 

  • Act as an in-market product expert to support local market teams. 

  • Measure and report the success of capability adoption based on Global and Market KPIs. 

 

  1. Insights Discovery 

  • Collaborate with market functional teams to refine problem statements and identify opportunities. 

  • Capture local usability/business requirements and consolidate feedback from market (product use cases, scope, usability, etc.) 

  • Consolidate business opportunities from markets and work with Product Teams to refine those and ensure that those are evaluated for new product increments. 

 

  1. Opportunity & Solution Discovery and Validation 

  • Give input to Product teams analysis, based on deep market understanding. 

  • Support communication to Markets around discovery outcomes (what is prioritized and why). 

  • Advise Product teams on implementation of process improvements. 

  • Ensure super users are involved or consulted during discovery process. 

  • Establish a regular feedback loop between Global Product teams and Market teams to bring. awareness of capabilities being introduced into our digital landscape. 

 

  1. Stakeholder Management 

  • Represent the Product Area within the markets, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and insights are captured and played back into the product organization. 

  • Represent the Markets within the Product Community to get more market insights into the global organization.

Requirements 

 

  1. Education & Experience 

  • Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication, IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment 

  • 2+ years working as a Product Success Manager or Product Management / Marketing related role, preferably in an Agile working setup 

  • Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels 

  • Experience in creating strong internal business cases to support investment and internal resource requests 

 

  1. Soft-Skills 

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels, both in person and remotely. 

  • High resilience and solution-oriented attitude. 

  • Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty. 

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, including cross-cultural competence. 

 

  1. Hard-Skills 

  • Good understanding of IT products and capabilities 

  • Advanced domain knowledge in Digital Product / Marketing 

  • Good understanding of apparel / footwear business 

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban 

  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies  

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written
