Brand Media Marketing Intern (Internship Program 2022)

This internship is an excellent opportunity for a top talent with strong communication, creative problem-solving skills and a passion for sports and the sporting goods industry. We would love to gain some new and fresh perspectives from you and in return provide you with great learning opportunities on a variety of projects and teams as well as the possibility to stay with us long-term and start building your career at adidas!

 

Details of the program

Duration: May 2nd -August 26th (16 weeks)

Remuneration: 16 CAD/ hour

Location: tbd. Our head office is in Woodbridge, ON. Currently, we are still working from home but once we return, we will work 3 days/ week from the office. Therefore, please make sure you are able to reach the office location.

Please note: We will have a vaccine mandate in place.

  • Do not just record yourself talking to the camera. Be creative. This is your chance to shine!

 

Option 2: 1 Pager

  • Feel free to include text, images, links, videos, etc.
  • Creativity has no limits. This is your chance to shine!
  • The Creator 1 Pager is to be submitted in a PDF format. Please upload your 1 Pager to Dropbox or a similar application and include the link in your online application form.

 

Process and timelines

Application deadline: February 6th, 2022, end of day.

 

After this deadline, we will move quickly. Please be available and check your e-mail (incl. spam folder!) for when we reach out e.g., for a pre-recorded video interview in February.

The final stage of the process, interviews and assessment day, is planned for the week of March 14th (subject to change) and offers will be communicated by March 28th.

 

 

The Brand Media Marketing Intern: Purpose & overall relevance for the organization

Support the Communication Team in all areas of the business, including:

    • Creation of marketing tools to support Outdoor and Women’s
    • Support and assist with all upcoming Events & activations
    • Manage product seeding & shipping
    • Coordinating communication internally & externally
    • Assist with overall planning and execution of programs across Outdoor and Women’s

 

Key Responsibilities (Functional):  

  • Develop creative briefs (including digital) for our creative services department
  • Facilitate media requests by sending product images and details
  • Research new vendors
  • Competitive landscape research and store visits
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events and activations
  • On-site facilitating and presence during all events and activations
  • Read through daily media clippings, social posts and provide highlights to team
  • Create purchase orders and manage
  • Have a working knowledge of all related product launches and retail programs
  • Manage backroom, new shipment & labelling, etc

  • Meet project completion deadlines for above projects as outlined by Manager

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with the digital landscape
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint.
  • Sports enthusiast
  • Travel may be required

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program or just graduated. 
  • All applications will be accepted and considered. It is our long-term goal to convert interns into full time positions. Students who are planning to graduate within the next 12 months after the internship will be preferred for this program.
