Business Process Analyst



The North American Product Supply (NAM PS) team ensures that 30,000 products annually are purchased and manufactured on time to meet the needs of adidas and Reebok customers and consumers. The PS Reporting & Analytics team creates visibility to the department’s performance through accurate data, accessible platforms, and automated reporting.


The system and data landscapes continually evolve and require updates to our processes and reporting in order to stay relevant to the business. This role supports initiatives aimed at improving processes, reporting, and tools within the NAM PS team through testing system changes, advocating for automation, and acting as an agent for change.


In this hybrid role, the Business Process Analyst sits within the PS Reporting & Analytics team while interacting with a network of Business Process Management (BPM) individuals embedded throughout the NAM PS team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the interdependencies between systems, data, and processes.
  • Work with key partners by sorting through opinions, facts, and data in order to define, test, and implement reporting, system, and process changes.
  • Act as a department expert on reporting and process, providing support and training to ensure that skills and capabilities are transferred to others.
  • Challenge the status quo and identify areas of improvement through the lens of simplification, automation, and process re-engineering.
  • Support the design, build, and rollout of Global system, reporting, and supply chain initiatives with a focus on NAM PS.
  • Provide data transparency in an automated and efficient way to support decision-making within the NAM PS operational team and with its stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support the development of documentation, testing, and training related to process management activities.
  • Execute BPM-specific reports and perform regular updates to reference data to ensure Product Supply systems run smoothly and are set up for optimal performance.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management Science or similar area. We welcome other relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in place of formal education or a degree.
  • 3-5 years related progressive work experience and/or training
  • Experience in in ERP (preferably SAP) systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user (power queries, macros, pivot tables)
  • Strong report usage and development in MicroStrategy, Tableau, or other data visualization tool
  • Knowledge of SQL, R or python and a willingness to learn more
  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) desired but not mandatory
  • Experience in project management preferred
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written)
