Specialist Export Account - 18 Month Temporary Contract

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • To passionately assist the Export organisation in identifying, developing and implementing strategies for the profitable growth of the adidas Group brands

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with the implementation of the Market Excellence strategy across Wholesale, Franchise and E-com.
  • Ensure the best possible Net Sales result by assisting the Key Account managers in setting clear targets and action points; constant tracking of results; analysis of risks & new business opportunities
  • Assist the Key Account Managers in ensuring the Export accounts are applying available adidas Group standards and best practices.
  • Support where necessary the administration of adidas Group trade terms
  • Ensure all customers are segmented correctly
  • Assist Key Account Managers with the execution of action plans in order to win market share within designated markets
  • Monitor and report on customers and competitors sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions  
  • Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer’s performances where necessary
  • Responsible for weekly Free To Sell reports to Export Customers
  • Assist with maintenance of customers relationships , resolving issues of key partners within the Export business
  • Provide and assist Key Account Managers with all aspects of sell in preparation
  • Communication with Key Partners

  • Global: Centre of Excellence (CoE) Wholesale
  • Market: Brands, Customer Service, Sales Coordination, Business Development, HR, Controlling, Planning, Logistics, Orderbook Management, Store Development
  • External: Customers, Agencies

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Representative with proven track record of successfully managing accounts and relationships in large sales organizations
  • Analytical skills for business planning and decision planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communication and negotiating abilities
  • Strong understanding of the business cycle  (e.g. sales, retail, trade marketing, customer service, finance and controlling)

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in business with marketing and sales focus
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within large sales organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion or FMCG
  • IT skills – Excel , PowerPoint
