Designer Brand Design Creative Direction - temp until Dec 2021 (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Design industry leading creative solutions for assigned projects within BU’s brand design.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Under the direction of the Design Director Brand Design, create word class design solutions for adidas BU brand design, with a focus on event/exhibition, retail, interior and experiential design projects.
  •  Participate and contribute to franchise specific, seasonal, and annual design direction development under those design pillars.
  • Contribute to the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to end creative excellence from sellin to sellout (consumer-facing)
  • Collaborate with variety of creative resources (freelancers, etc) on creative execution to ensure holistic creative excellence.
  • Create design solutions for variety of touchpoints from sell-in to sell out, internal and consumer facing that deliver an impactful and authentic aesthetic look and feel.
  • Develop creative solutions that fulfil objectives of category, business area, briefs
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product marketing and Product Design team members to ensure holistic storytelling and holistic brand look and feel
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming, research and ideation exercises within the wider brand design team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand focus
  • Present and communicate design solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders
  • Review and approve production stages of creative execution, ensuring creative excellence to the end
  • Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
  • Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects
  • Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world class results

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • IT skills:  Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced /Outlook
  • Design apps: expert
  • Strong graphic and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals and presentations
  • Language: English: excellent

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate education and/or advanced experience in Event Design, Visual Merchandising Design, Communication Design, or related Design specialty
  • At least 5 years’ in experiential design or related creative field.
  • Passion for adidas and its mission
  • Passion for style, culture, design
  • Fluent in English
