Designer Brand Design

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Design industry leading creative solutions for assigned concept or category,
to create a highly relevant, desirable and clear adidas brand image, from sell-in to sell-out (consumer-facing).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Create world class creative design solutions for adidas under the direction of the Senior Designer.
  • Design concepts and creative that fulfil objectives of category, concept, or brand briefs.
  • Create design solutions for variety of touchpoints from sell-in to sell out, internal and consumer facing that deliver an impactful and authentic look and feel.
  • Contribute to the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to end creative excellence from sell-in to sell-out (consumer-facing).
  • Participate and contribute to seasonal, and annual design direction development.
  • Collaborate with variety of creative resources (internal and external) on creative execution to ensure holistic creative excellence.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming, research and ideation exercises within the wider brand design team.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product marketing and Product Design team members to ensure holistic storytelling and holistic brand look and feel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand focus
  • Present and communicate design solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders
  • Review and approve production stages of creative execution, ensuring creative excellence to the end
  • Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
  • Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects
  • Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world class results

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • IT skills:  Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced /Outlook
  • Design apps: expert
  • Strong visual and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals and presentations
  • Language: English: excellent

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Under-graduate level Design education
  • Solid education and advanced experience in the creative development of communication tools
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Sporting Goods/Fashion industry or in creative agencies
  • Passion for adidas and its mission
  • Passion for style, culture, design
  • Fluent in English
