Director, Business Development APAC, adidas Golf

To support profitable and sustainable market share growth for adidas golf in the Market by development and implementation of new strategic business concepts (reflecting Sales/Marketing/Operations) with key customers. 
To improve processes and systems to drive organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and to address all extraordinary challenges to the organization.

•    Actively elaborate, specify, test and roll-out a 5 year vision and annual business plans on new market driven business concepts, advanced technological solutions and sales support services with key customers to drive effectiveness and efficiency for Adidas golf within Market.
•    Address and solve cross-functional challenges and projects with high priority to Market. 
•    Coordinate requests regarding cross-functional process issues from Market departments and ensure solutions are provided. 
•    Align strategic priorities across management teams and support global priorities
•    Coordinate go-to-market strategies of adidas golf
•    Assess the need and drive the change (in business processes and organizational evolution) to meet the needs of brands, markets, customers and consumers 
•    Manage major cross-functional projects through: Plans and Account Marketing Plans
•    Definition of project management frameworks, deliverables and KPI’s
•    Management of communication flow
•    Delivering results and impact assessment
•    Support MD and management team in operational work
•    Drive Consumer Survey to formulate appropriate strategic directives
•    Manage monthly and quarterly business recap reports to global 
•    Develop and constantly improve the functional and inter-personal skills of the team (if applicable)
•    Set personal objectives, targets and guidelines for team members and assess the results (if applicable)

•    Business Development Manager with proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects ideally with Marketing or Sales or Operations experience 
•    Strong strategic acting and high visionary thinking as well as operational skills
•    Proven project management skills
•    High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge
•    Proven leadership and managerial skills (if applicable)
•    High personal impact and high communication skills
•    Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus

•    Minimum 6 years of project management experience within large sales organization or in the consulting industry
•    Preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry
•    Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team (if applicable)
•    Fluent in English and Japanese languages.  Other Asian languages a plus
•    Business degree.  MBA a plus
