Director, Sales, aGolf

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:   
Responsible for the overall direction and control of all adidas Golf sales activities in the country. (Own Retail /Franchise/Whoe sale(GS/GG/MM) channels)
Full responsible for P&L for all aG owned retail under a portfolio of retail formats : 
Own direct store, Department store and factory outlet.

Key Responsibilities: 


1. Develop short and long term business plan, Budget setting & Target achievment

  • Develop SBP(3 or 5 years Strategic  Business Plan) to provide the new vision for next 3- 5 years with key strategies : Align with DTC Lead model & WWTW strategy
  • Set sales channel roadmap by distribution strategy : Update annually Store open & close plan, Door expansion plan by store differentiation plan, etc. 
  • Have strategically set up sales budget for all sales channels 
  • Create a customer level business plan for the region along with RSM’s, the outlines sales strategies and targets as well as alignment with the Company business plan
  • Regular update on providing annual sales budgets
  • Seek opportunities to achieve sales by developing New channel & New account
  • Execution of strategic open in new areas to build up valuable brand position and brand awareness


2. Key account & strategic account management

  • Supervise activities related to special & proper program development for Key account
  • Oversee the Comp. store management for healthy and sustainable growth
  • Responsible for P&L of Mono brand franchise key account


3. Sell thru & Inventory management

  • Regular sell thru reporting & analysis
  • Optimum category strategy for sell thru improvement
  • Monitoring stock flow and stock order
  • Plan and manage the inventory in coordination with Finance and Product
  • Set up the best seasonal close out & return plan


4. Proactive involvement in Go-To-Market strategy setup & execution

  • Give feedback & input on the best localized product
  • Cooperate marketing team to improve sell thru


5. People management & HR

  • Work in coordination with HR for manpower planning for retail training and motivates and maintains an effective sales force
  • Provide timely feedback and complete regular performance reviews for staff to optimise team performanc.
  • Identify and groom second line of leadership within the Retail sales in coordination with HR.
  • Develop a value - lead and motivate Retail sales Dept

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing and business
  • MS-Office skills
  • Minimum over 10 years of relevant work experience with sales, marketing preferably in sports industry
  • Fluent in English (written & oral), ability to communicate in Korean will be an advantage
