Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation

 

  • Drive range architecture and CTC merchandising process (seasonal cycle) across Business Unit, Channel, and Market to ensure brand and channel KPI achievement
  • Lead and steer the creation of the optimal Turkey Omni-channel range framework across all categories and channels.
  • Develop category business success within guidelines set by EM CTC&BUs and Global through the execution of a robust category plan in the cluster.
  • Be the lead representative for Turkey CTC to EM/EMEA CTC&BUs and other markets CTC 
  • Drive and guide the Turkey Marketing Operations Function, especially the critical GTM process within guidelines set for EM/EMEA and by Global Mops

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with EM HUB CTC&BU and define number of articles allocated (total, per price brackets, per concepts, per channel, per category, per gender, per channels/KA) and product allocation (segmentation) guidelines for TURKEY, including SMU, Promo.
  • Leading teams responsible for CTC Merchandising and Mops functions at a TURKEY level including Range Architecture, Price Architecture, Assortment Planning and GTM processes.
  • Serve as the primary market liaison for all relevant Merchandising topics within the end-to-end process
  • Create the Market Range Architecture strategy and ensure its alignment with the Global Brand and EM Framework
  • Lead the Price Architecture strategy as applied throughout the Market
  • Lead Assortment Planning strategy, ensuring all assortments are built according to Global tiering by store format/cluster and in line with Global Customer Segmentation
  • Considering all store clusters relevant for the market (i.e. flagship only for key cities), lead the cluster format strategy to attain financial targets, and align with global DTC guidelines
  • Drive the collection and submission of initial market forecasts in system (RMA) for horizontal reviews by Global CTC at key milestones (CR1, RMA1, RMA2)
  • Support the Turkey brand lead in the implementation of Global Marketing projects and local change management.
  • Excellence at GTM including internal sales meeting and sell-in tools & cluster article master data maintenance  
  • Drive efficiencies and share best practices relating to key business services such as samples, catalogues, showrooms, sell-in tools, initiatives and events
  • Monitor & drive forecast cross-categories including margin development

  • Project KPIs (respect timing, qualitative contribution, etc.)
  • Range size, efficiency, brand mandatory selection % (incl. overlap)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive (15+ years) Marketing experience, with a distinct track record of success and high-level merchandising and retail space management knowledge
  • Strong presentation/communications skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Experience in both market and above market organization preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Retail Ranging processes and systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Structured, organised and process oriented

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business and/or a minimum of 15 years equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various seniority levels  
  • Fluent in English
