Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


Align the demand of the market, between Marketing and Sales, from an unbiased perspective, across all brands and channels. Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve one committed Sales Plan, linked to the market budget plan/forecast.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive the monthly IBP process across categories and channels
  • Facilitate the buy and sales network planning sign-off
  • Be e key player in the S&OP process in the market
  • Support GCA BUs with data analysis and reporting
  • Tracking of sales and margin initiatives
  • Run business simulations
  • Ensure the accuracy of the Demand Planning Forecast Data
  • Partner with Operational Demand Planning and Inventory Management to ensure robustness of the IBP
  • Drive consensus plan between Sales & Marketing
  • Focus on volume & value (Gross Sales to Std. Margin)
  • Identify gaps & facilitate Gap closing activities
  • Drive projects related to Demand Planning
  • Disaggregate demand plan down to division/article / SKU level & communicates with Supply Chain

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • FP&A background in a relevant industry
  • Demand Planning background in a large sales organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., relationship management, facilitation)
  • High personal impact and high communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g., data analysis, trend forecasting)
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge to challenge and drive consensus between Sales & Marketing
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills (if applicable)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years of demand planning experience within large sales organisation
  • Preferable experience in the sporting goods industry
  • Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team (if applicable)
  • Business degree from leading business school
