Director GBS Business Performance & Program Management H2R (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

GBS, the engine that designs, builds and operates consistent adidas end-to-end business services & solutions globally to drive the transformation TO ONE ADIDAS enabling our Business Partners to focus on core business.

The GBS Business Performance & Program Management will support the Hire to Retire (H2R) GBS stream and will provide coordination and business support for the entire H2R team, as it sets and delivers the solution strategy and roadmap for an end-to-end business solution globally. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Hire to Retire Team Strategy & Execution

  • Facilitate the process of the H2R strategy implementation
  • Act as Project Management Office by monitoring and reporting progress of achieving key transformational initiative milestones and other strategic priorities
  • Partner with other PMO teams, ensuring initiatives and special projects are completed and targets achieved
  • Develop and maintain a project network with other relevant departments within/outside Operations in order to get end-to-end transparency of project activity
  • Managing the OKR process for SLT area, coordinating with Manage Business Domain team and overseeing process from OKR creation to tracking, alignment, changes
  • Responsible for the governance, strategy and compliance framework of end to end services and solutions roadmap for GBS Process Excellence function
  • Drive the transformation and operating model of GBS Process Excellence function, collaborating with functional teams to drive consistent execution
  • Lead medium-sized projects within the boundaries of time, cost & quality, focusing on the customers expectations, results and sustainability of solution.
  • Ensure completeness of key documentation of H2R Area (Area description, Taxonomy, DTPs…)
  • Manages process for Organisational reviews and updates related to H2R Area  (e.g. collects inputs from GPO/GPO-1, provides info to requester (HR/S&P, etc)

 

SLT Support

  • Support SLT member in defining the ‘management agenda’, priorities and objectives for the organization, working closely with Strategy & Program teams of related departments
  • Steer and encourage discussions with x-functional stakeholders to ensure adequate and timely alignment on proposed direction(s) by identifying stakeholders and maintaining stakeholder maps in collaboration with Change Management & Adoption
  • Drive the development of executive level presentations and reports
  • Manage and coordinate senior leadership meetings, events and team-internal processes
  • Own internal communication concepts in collaboration with the Communications team to ensure employee engagement and understanding of current strategy
  • Own respective workspaces, Yammer groups and other communication channels
  • Manage stakeholder requirements related to projects including collecting data, delivering analysis, problem resolution and support recommending options.
  • Coordinates activities related to learning

 

Collaboration with Strategy & Projects Team

  • Governance:       
    • Provide regular updates on Delivery Model information
    • Facilitate activities related to the Interaction Model (e.g. Tactical Meetings)
  • Orchestration:
    • Drive the development of executive level presentations and reports

 

Collaboration with Program Management

  • Change Management:      Support implementing Change Management plans to ensure a smooth implementation of the necessary changes in the organization
  • Financial Management: Support SLT on management of budgets
  • Transitions: Aligning on planning and execution of transitions

 

Collaboration with Centers

  • Support all center areas in the implementation of the changes planned in the roadmap (processes, systems, organisation)
  • Drive, implement and sustain compliance for GBS Process Excellence function and ensure compliance for the end to end service and solution

 

Collaboration with with Delivery Excellence

  • Performance Management:
    • Support standardized reporting, measurements, KPI and ad hoc analysis in line with SLA’s together with Delivery Excellence team securing quality, timeliness, compliance and productivity of services and processes
    • Coordinate decisions towards adoption and implementation of standard processes, performance measurements, services and solutions in order to standardize, harmonize and automate activities
  • User Experience:
    • Ensure the user experience is algned with the H2R roadmap, namely on communications to be made
    • Accountable for the improvement and customer satisfaction related to process governance, strategy and compliance framework
    • Ensure that on-going requirements raised by markets/functions are adequately evaluated and considered

 

Colaboration with Internal Controls

  • Support the internal controls process and advise on improvement areas

 

Relationship Management

  • Independently identify and manage (senior) stakeholder group, establish solid working relationship and steer communication
  • Proxy representative for SLT Area for relevant areas (OKRs, KPIs, etc.) with both GBS and other SLTs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures

  • Strong planning and organization skills, and ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines

  • Understanding of OKRs, KPIs, and other business metrics; when to use which and how to create metrics that add value

  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive work experience in relevant functional area, ideally in a Shared Service or GBS environment
