Director Omnichannel Order Fulfilment

 

Purpose:

Predict customer behavior, needs and ensure reliable and consistent support to the business in order to satisfy this demand via operational excellence and omnichannel orderbook management.

Drive continuous planning, process, system and service improvements with the goal of achieving on time availability and delivery as well as supporting strategic business priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop medium- and long-term strategic direction for Orderbook Fulfillment and work with team managers to execute strategy/initiatives
  • Lead one Europe fulfillment and enable general planning over clusters and zones, represent OFD team within Europe Sales and Operation process
  • Develop a high-performance team, provide training, coaching, professional growth, and career planning to ensure organisational health and sustainability
  • Ensure that ‘demand’ of Channels/Cluster/Customers will be fulfilled by on time and in full delivery
  • Ensure alignment with Cluster and Europe Finance to steer achievement of sales targets
  • Deliver a centralised, efficient and consistent Orderbook Fulfillment service to market Europe Clusters through management of allocation, delivery note creation, order book cleanse, stock movements and transfers in accordance to agreed business rules and schedules
  • Support Inventory/SKU management activities to keep FCs ‘serviceable’ by ensuring that inventory is available in correct DC/Stock Category to meet commercial needs ’in season’ and effective clearance management at ’end of life’ as well as supporting stock transfers/sales/exports to markets outside of Western Europe
  • Work cross functionally with Product Supply, Inbound-/Fulfillment Center Planning, Market Operations & Optimization and FC Ops functions to ensure OTIF execution of deliveries against commercial requirements and priorities
  • Ensure strong fulfilment for product launches
  • Enable efficient launch of new systems (S4)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain mechanics and flow of goods from sourcing to customer, as well as business processes and interdependencies

  • Good planning and organizational skills, ability to convert complex and complicated things into understandable and concrete call for actions
  • Motivating and leading complex teams
  • MS Office (Excel/Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
  • Ability to challenge the way in which things are done
  • Fluent in English (written and oral); excellent communication skills

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • College or university degree with a focus supply chain management, Post graduate level preferred; alternatively, equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Finance planning, Logistics, Footwear and/or Apparel
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Finance controlling environment within the footwear and apparel industry
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing people
