Director Project Management Digital Creation End to End

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

 

Digital Creation E2E is a strategic board program under the digital umbrella building the must-have adidas creation infrastructure of the future. Focus is to digitize the end-to-end creation-to-shelf value chain, covering marketing, creation, sourcing (supplier integration) and sell-in.

It is an integral part of adidas strategy “Own the Game”

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

This is a key in-house strategy position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented future leader who understands what digital transformation projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.

 

  • Shape Digital Creation End-2-End (DC E2E) strategy and transformation program holistically across Brand, GOPS and Global Sales functions
  • Support vision creation and roadmap for global implementation of solutions and tools and set strategic direction for roll-out of capabilities across brands
  • Represent the brand of DC E2E Program to Global Operations community and beyond
  • Support strategy development process and project portfolio prioritization within the DC E2E landscape to achieve the benefits of Digital Creation.
  • Own and manage a digital transformation project that drives change across functions and business units
  • Lead communication to sponsors and senior management through effective story telling
  • Create transparency on projects across DC E2E and align on the priorities, to ensure resources are deployed to provide on time, high quality and consistency of deliverables and interdependencies are identified.
  • Drive the larger organization by influencing functional experts, product owners and involving key stakeholders.
  • Independently accelerate and challenge DC E2E projects to ensure the DC E2E ramp up plan is achieved.
  • Share strategic direction to MVP leads / teams to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Take part in coordination and knowledge exchange with other directors of the digital transformation hub in Shanghai and HQ

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

 

  • Lead project activities and partner with stakeholders including but not exclusive to
    • Sen. Director DC E2E
    • Director Digital Architect
    • Director Design Operations
  • Steer and encourage discussions with x-functional stakeholders to ensure adequate and timely alignment on proposed direction(s)
  • Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
    • Product (Creation functions, Footwear, Apparel and A&G product ops, etc.)
    • Markets (SCM and Sales functions) 
    • Marketing (horizontal and vertical BU divisions)
    • GOPS (Global IT, SCM, etc.)
    • Corporate functions
  • Be part of a larger digital transformation hub, holistically driving digital transformation at adidas

  • End-to-end mindset, big picture view of problems on hand
  • Creative, energetic personality, able to influence the agenda
  • Effectively steer relevant stakeholders, product owners and agile implementation teams
  • Experience leader in multi-cultural and cross-divisional working environments, who is decisive and takes ownership.
  • Foster a team culture in which 3Cs (creativity, collaboration & confidence) are lived daily creating a highly motivated and diverse team with a can-do attitude
  • Ambassador for Digital Creation E2E within the business environment

 

Hard skills:

  • Business acumen and in-depth digital knowledge
  • Advance leadership and management training
  • Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
  • Proven track records in managing large teams and/or external consultant
  • Ability to launch large-scale projects and proven track records of strategic project management experience, advanced understanding of business process management, methodologies, and principles
  • Exposure in working with brand, sales and sourcing processes

 

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Between 5-7 years of relevant work experience in digital transformation environment (e.g.  top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, supply chain management)
  • Within which 2-3 years proven track record of project management experience; direct team management a plus
  • University degree
