Director Range Architecture, APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • DRIVE range architecture across BU, Channel, and Market to ensure brand and channel KPI achievement

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Create detailed RA (by category, by product type, by month, by price cluster) for Market APAC using 3 year historical analysis, country/cluster inputs, Global & APAC BU Strategy
  • Define total RA - inline and Exclusives at channels and KA level
  • Collect bottom up Seasonal, Quarterly, and Monthly RA from each Country and consolidate by BU & Channel
  • Create Seasonal, Quarterly, and Monthly Top-Down RA through 3 year historical analysis by BU & Channel
  • Track and analyze Sell Through data to ensure fact based decision making in BU and global
  • Own, Track, Analyze and Report Market range overlap
  • Analyze pricing across market and support price harmonization with fact based input to BU Merchandising
  • Provide feedback / input to Global CtC team on current and future range structure
  • Lead GTMT analysis
  • Identify and roll out best practices in the APAC CTC function (RA, Category Planning and Assortment Planning
  • Manage/upgrade/develop the RA tool (CUBE)
  • Drive performance and development culture through #MYBEST
  • Drive employee engagement, leading by example

  • BU Compliance to signed-off RA
  • Efficiency KPIs (overlap, hit rate, …)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and implement strategy
  • Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
  • Distinct track record of success and high-level range management knowledge
  • Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions (finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.)
  • Strong industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel and accessories—and across all Bus.
  • Expert understanding of APAC markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8-10  years of experience in range management/product, marketing, sales/retail required. Regional experience preferred.
  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing, MBA preferred
  • Previous experience in managing a global matrix organization required
  • Sporting goods industry experience required
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel upwards of 20% of time
