Director Retail Excellence, Asia Pacific

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:

 

This individual serves as the primary leader by continuously striving to make things “Simpler for Store, Better for Customers and Sustainable for Adidas”. Managing the design, implementation, and roll out of business projects, best practices, and all things process improvement for the retail store base.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Design, coordinate & implement initiatives to drive retail continuous improvement across APAC DTC community, ensuring APAC vision, strategy, framework and ambitions.
  • Work with C/C Retail teams to identify, recommend and lead the development of store initiatives and strategies to improve store productivity and customer service.
  • Constantly review all process and procedures to reduce complexity and improve productivity
  • Manage global/local projects as needed to make things “Simpler for Store, Better for Customers and Sustainable for Adidas”.
  • Oversee the regular release and update of Global Store Operations Manuals and Policies.
  • Drive continuous Improvement of retail processes, systems and capabilities.
  • Drive Consumer Centricity insights through systematic analytics and reporting.
  • Drive Productivity Management with a focus on ensuring both value adding selling hours and non-value adding hours are managed as efficiently as possible.
  • Oversee User Management of Store relevant systems viz. GROW, CoRP, Rostering and SPOT etc.
  • Oversee the Inventory Management process including Inventory Adjustment, Weekly Cycle Count Report and others as required by business.
  • Manage overall NPS program setup and ensure NPS ongoing success in the market.
  • Generate a high level of collaboration & communication between Retail teams across all APAC country/clusters and other key stakeholders from Global and APAC functions.

  • Country/cluster DTC teams including but not limited to Retail Operations Team
  • Retail Supporting Function including but not limited to Retail AP, BP, VM, HR, Retail Academy

 

KPIS:

  • Shared Retail Team KPI’s include Topline and Bottom line of Retail business
  • Customer satisfaction of retail support provided

INDUSTRY: Preferably in retail/apparel industry

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor degree required and advanced degree in business or related fields preferred
  • Prior experience working in Retail with a focus on operations/activation/marketing are highly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of retail operations and/or retail operations supporting experience.
