Director Talent Management and Development

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

To deliver meaningful HR Talent products and services (Talent Management, Leadership & Learning) that are closely connected with the business strategy to HR Business Partners and high potentials. To upskill HR Business Partners on off-the-shelf (core) HR Talent products and services that can be offered to their support areas. Is an ambassador of the People, HR, and Talent Strategies with HR leadership team to foster cultural change

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Regional team leadership (including all countries and clusters in LAM)
  • Drive and oversee regional and global succession planning and leadership development programs and processes that include the identification, development, and career management of senior-level and mid-level high potential employees.
  • Develop and execute the regional talent pool strategy, working to identify, develop, and retain future leaders.
  • Manage and facilitate regional annual calibrations and periodic talent review meetings for senior leaders. 
  • Provide consultancy, tools, and techniques to managers, leaders, and HRBPs to help identify and develop high-potential employees. 
  • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify trends and underlying themes to set the strategy of best practices that bring value and change to the business.
  • In collaboration with VP HR, co-creates the regional people strategy that aligns to Market business strategies.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
     
  • Possess a strong set of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience.
  • Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining with broad knowledge of other areas.
     
    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
     
  • 10 years experience
  • As manager of Experts 3 years management experience required.
  • As manager of Admin/Tech Support minimum of 5 years management experience required.
