Specialist Real Estate - EMC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible to support and implement the Real Estate department strategy and helping the continuous improvement of the real estate processes. The role will support the alignment, reporting and tracking of the existing and new portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of existing and new lease agreements
Extract data from the leases for report preparations.
Review and record rent reductions and rent savings, using the provided template.
Support the Real Estate Managers in all real estate related functions.
Update the portfolio master sheet with full lease details
Review and process rent reconciliations utilizing lease agreements
Update lease administration system with rental changes
Coordinate between landlords, leasing consultants and internal departments to resolve any corporate leasing related concerns.
Manage monthly sales reporting process to landlords (where required)
Review and process percentage rent payments with AP (where required)
Perform spot audits utilizing lease agreements and internal documents/systems
Review lease abstracts to ensure accuracy against full lease agreement
Develop and produce reports to support the needs of internal business partners
Manage communication with all LL administration departments
Track and manage documentation signatory process
Control Lease registrations and licenses with legal
Manage Real Estate inputs for Global project approval process
Google map update for new stores
Key Relationships:
Local: Real Estate, Store development, Finance, Legal, Retail Operations and Landlords.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong writing, communication, and project/time management skills
Knowledge of basic Excel formulas functions as an advantage: index match, vlookup, pivot tables.
Ability to consolidate information from different stakeholders into one document.
Commercial mindset – availability to analyse basic commercial information (rent comparison, store P&L, offer letters – advantage).
Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally
Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes
Ability to work independently on several projects simultaneously
Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization sills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Arabic language an advantage
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors certification
2-3 years of relevant experience within Real Estate, Retail.
Knowledge of Lease Management Systems and/or working in a Lease Administration function is preferred
Good communication skills
Proficient in MS packages
