Field Key Account Executive

Purpose

Due to continuous success and growth of the field key account team, we have the opportunity for someone to join adidas Australia Field Sales team in the role of Field Key Account Executive that will be managing several Field Key Accounts whose HQ buying teams are in Sydney. This role will manage customers who place importance on having a strong relationship with their account manager and appreciate someone with a great attention to detail.

 

 We’re a tight knit team of long-standing employees, operating from locations across Australia and managing a large and diverse portfolio of customer partners, with a strong focus on building an inclusive culture.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and optimize relationships between adidas & your assigned Key Customer Partners.
  • Develop and execute joint sales and marketing plans that deliver a winning formula for both the Consumer and Customer experience. 
  • Achieve Sales & profit targets for your assigned Key Accounts and contribute to the overall success of the Field Sales division.
  • Work closely with the adidas Brand team to provide insights and intelligence to ensure Key Customer Partner product requirements are met.
  • Prepare and present quarterly Sell-in presentations to your assigned Customer Partners, displaying the adidas Footwear, Apparel and Hardware range in an engaging and informative way. (in person or digital showings)
  • To understand your assigned Customer Partners and provide range feedback, sell thru analysis, market intelligence and strategic initiatives to further increase market share and profitability of your assigned accounts.
  • To ensure all orders placed by the Customer Partners are correct and punctual while also working closely with the Customer Service and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to the customer.
  • To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms.
  • Confidently run reports and analyze data using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Complete range forecasts and insights for your assigned category on a half yearly basis

 

KPIs:

  • Market share within assigned Key Customer Partner(s) and categories.
  • Net sales and profitability targets
  • Sales marketing budgets

 

Key Relationships:

  • Market – Finance, Marketing, Category, Customer Service, Broader adidas Sales teams

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Industry – Apparel/Fashion/Shoes or FMCG.
  • Exposure - Sports, Marketing, Retail, Business
  • Functional – previous key account experience or customer relationship management of large accounts
  • Systems -Microsoft Office – advanced level of understanding.
  • Systems – Business Intelligence (BI) – advantageous to have prior experience.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Key Account Management Role preferred.
  • Previous experience working nationally on a major grocery retail account would be highly regarded
