Flagship Instore Digital Technician, adidasLDN, Oxford Street, London

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: 

Responsible for the conservation of all digital touchpoints in the Flagship store and delivering a model Flagship environment and experience to all Consumers by: 

  • Proactively and reactively supporting the end to end process of maintenance to all digital touchpoints within the store.
  • Being the key point of contact for all Digital related matters and taking the relevant actions in the event of maintenance issues and breakdown of equipment.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Leads and co-ordinates checks for all digital aspects of the store prior to and during the day, and is able to complete basic troubleshooting where required with equipment escalating issues where unable to locally resolve
  • Main troubleshooter for all topics relating to digital equipment and provides onsite advice for remote fixes where required
  • Prioritises at all times the Instore Experience (ISE) and uses attention to detail to provide the consumer the ideal shopping environment
  • Is aware of updates to systems, content changes and proactively manages them with the appropriate team, coordinating specific times and dates that changes can be made to ensure minimal impact on store.
  • Partners with and is the store point of contact for adidas and their appointed service providers such as; 123 and Infrastor Co-ordinating in advance the required Planned IT and Digital Maintenance and any other actions required to be taken with the adidas appointed service provider
  • Monitors the performance of outsourced service providers in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs to achieve best service and standards for the Brand Flagship store
  • Escalates where required breaches of SLAs from Contractors or 3rd Party service providers to Line Manager and the relevant Department to ensure penalties are issued where appropriate.
  • Logs all issues regarding digital touchpoints via the appropriate system ASPEN
  • Provides detailed analysis on digital related topics to Line Manager and Store Director to identify clear ways of improvement where required
  • Maintain audit records for all required checks, tests and risk assessments
  • Collaborates productively and respectfully with all team members acting as one store team to meet or exceed store goals within the Flagship store
  • Communicates a desire to learn and seizes all available opportunities to drive his/her development and increase performance
  • To assist Line Manager with additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role to support the store

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Strong skills in managing end to end digital maintenance and in-store digital equipment
  • Solid problem-solving skills with an ability to visualize a solution and take relevant actions quickly to reach resolution
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to present information in a professional and confident manner to all key business partners
  • Is thorough and detail oriented


 Requisite Education and Experience  

  • Minimum 12 months’ work experience in a Digital customer and commercially focused environment with experience working with Digital equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 and applications
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy
