GBS Non-Trade Procurement Performance & Customer Support Manager (M/F/D)

adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine to drive the transformation to ONE adidas. It is the company's operational backbone, through delivering standard global services, focusing on enhancing customer user experience, and providing consistent skills and quality.

It delivers high quality services in the areas of Order to Cash (O2C), Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (R2R), Controlling & Reporting and HR Services for adidas companies and subsidiaries located in Europe, North America and Latin America.

 

We are looking to fill this role with a candidate that can provide the following:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team’s management including coaching, training, motivation and performance appraisal guidance;
  • Supervise the daily activities from R&A and eSourcing team by adhering to the agreed SLAs towards the business partners;
  • Ensure good relationships with business partners and the global functional Team (Procurement Excellence) on a proactive basis;
  • Proactively drive productive relationships with key business partners, users and stakeholders;
  • Develop and report relevant KPI’s for area of responsibility;
  • Ensure that KPI’s are maintained, achieved and reported in a correct and timely manner;
  • Generate ideas for process improvements with respect to the processes in scope and ensure high quality and efficient work;
  • Problem analyses and proposal or assessment of solutions, and respective implementation
  • Drive Reporting & Analytics into the direction of Business Analytics and further digitalization and automation in this area.

 

Key Relationships:

 

Internal GBS Porto:

  • Within GBS.NTP the Manager will be reporting towards the Director of GBS.NTP

External GBS Porto:

  • Close collaboration with Procurement Excellence team and GPO of Insights Management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge in analytics, e.g. Spend analysis, demand and savings
  • Excellent knowledge of Ariba Sourcing tools and up-to-date with the latest innovations in this field
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement tools and procurement data structure as well as Financial and Procurement KPIs
  • Good understanding of savings methodologies and ability to train users on different use-cases
  • Good knowledge of project management and planning
  • Strong capability to independently interact with different stakeholders
  • Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines
  • Knowledge on Visual Analytical tools: e.g. Microstrategy, Power BI, etc..
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP Ariba
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
  • Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures.
  • Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust and perseverance.
  • Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious

  • Availability to travel when required

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling or similar.
  • 5 plus years relevant work experience in the accounting / Procurement / business area / Reporting & Analytics / eSourcing
  • Proven work experience in people management / demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function
