Assistant Manager, Engineering & Manufacturing Innovation - CI Projects

  • A key in-house strategy position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented future leader who understands how a product related innovation portfolio is identified, prioritized, managed & implemented in a cross-functional stakeholder landscape.



  • Support running overall innovation project(s) and workstreams deliverables (e.g. project planning, milestones execution and monitoring) in alignment with strategic direction
  • Interact with cross-functional project teams & promote clear direction and project targets aligned with business needs.
  • Identify business opportunities through development of new capabilities, and align and balance cross-divisions’ interest.
  • Manage effective and timely communication on project progress and results to sponsors and senior management by setting up efficient communication framework.
  • Provide interpretation of project results to Sr Manager Projects on a monthly base and translate into insights to steer the project successfully.
  • Effectively deploy project management toolkit across innovation projects and workstreams to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables.
  • Create, maintain, and improve portfolio management system/tools to ensure project transparency among all stakeholders.
  • Local lead of Innovation finance, chargeback process and handling of aSIP system
  • Facilitate the communication for all internal and external occasions such as project updates, handover documentation, milestone meetings, tech gates.

  • End-to-end mindset, and highly self-motivated
  • Experience in wide areas of tools (e.g. Project planning, process mapping, enterprise solutions, Excel analytics, etc.) and project management experience.
  • Strong influencing, people, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability in working with multidimensional teams
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong Microsoft office skill, experienced Smartsheet, Power BI user is preferred.
  • Basic data analytics skill




  • University Degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas. PMP and lean sigma certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant business experience
