Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Create assortment plans & packages in line with the EM strategy for DTC channels (Own Retail, E-com), with an opportunity to extend to Franchise/Wholesale channel as relevant.
Support the AP manager on the option planning and channel ranging requirement ensuring clear input is collected from key stakeholders in market level, including all countries and clusters.
Create reports, review data and analyse trends, sell-thru and key kpis to share insights with stakeholders in brand and channel teams to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand global & EM category/BU strategy that can be translated into assortment planning for the market

Manage assortment planning process by creating Option Plans and Channel Ranges per channel/segment tier

Execute the EMCR strategy with a relevant segmentation framework across hub and clusters through collaboration with BU and channel teams to deliver the best proposition the brand has to offer supplemented with a commercial outlook

Support the AP manager in EMCR and overall GTM process management of milestones.

Participation in channel trading calls, hindsight reviews and other critical milestones to bring insights from and share brand updates/priorities for key initiatives

Compiling and maintaining data and reports for the AP team for all reporting needs and share insights with brand/BU and channel teams for future range building and in-season trading.

Creating seasonal merchandising boards for key milestones in the GTM process

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to understand the art & science of buying & merchandising along with a broad understanding of business KPIs, product knowledge & consumer focus, relevant especially to DTC channels

Specialist in option planning and channel ranging processes with strong understanding of relevant systems solutions

Broad and deep knowledge of assortment planning processes with a good balance between theoretical understanding and practical experience

Knowledge/Skills in buying & merchandising methodologies & processes

High level of proficiency in MS-excel, and data analysis

Strong communication & influencing skills
-
Ability to work in a matrixed set-up, across global/multi-cultural teams and set-ups.
Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualification:
-
University degree in business, ideally either in fashion/footwear merchandising or marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience

3-4 years of typical relevant work experience

Experience of working with a global sports wear / fashion brand or any global work experience will be an added advantage
