HR Specialist

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Enable the organization to achieve the business goal by providing HR support to Own Retail employees pan India. With the new business strategy, number of stores is slated to grow to 150 by 2025. Individual is expected to partner with business during the phase of rapid growth across key employee milestones – Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Career Development & Exit Management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage local HR management function for Own Retail to ensure effective value to the organization
  • Drive onboarding for Own Retail to ensure enhanced employee experience & seamless integration into the system
  • Build up and maintain a close relationship with Own Retail store leadership to ensure that HR policies/practises/processes are fully understood and implemented within Own Retail, Plan for store visits on a regular basis pan India
  • Partner with business to drive all HR mandates: Performance Management, Succession Planning, Target Setting, etc.
  • Work closely with Line Management & Sales Academy in development of Own Retail teams and support agreed action plans for top/low performers
  • Support and manage employee relations related to conduct, performance, discipline in collaboration with business & legal
  • Support labor law consultant & internal legal team on compliances for Own Retail
  • Ensure proper handling of respective administration tasks
  • Maintain accuracy of data in SAP/MyBest/TLU & track attrition on a regular basis
  • Create dashboards to track hiring trends, diversity ratio & attrition to share with business leadership for decision making
  • Manage annual salary rounds, promotions & transfers for defined areas
  • Be the custodian of the HR engagement calendar and ensure that the calendar is executed well
  • Drive activities of Own Retail recognition program including seeking feedback from business to improvise
  • Ensure completion of annual Employee Listening Survey

  • Good MS-office skills, SAP experience is a plus

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate; Post grad in HR (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive work experience in the field of HR; preferably in an international organization
  • Project management experience preferable
  • Strong Communication skills
