The Digital Technologies Footwear team focuses on new technologies and their potential application within the business. Your primary responsibility involves creating prototypes and developing software and plugins for 3D applications. Your work contributes significantly to the advancement of digital innovation in the footwear industry.

Our product development teams create every shirt, every shoe and every piece of equipment for thousands of athletes and fashion lovers as if it was one of a kind. And it truly is, as they weave their passion into every single product. But translating designs, drawings and renderings into real products requires a lot of decision making.

As Assistant Manager Digital Technologies Footwear you are a key contributor digital technologies team by assisting and supporting the process for the creation of virtual prototypes based on development data for footwear and apparel products. You will develop software prototypes and solutins as well as partner with IT and business partners to define a robust product backlog, manage capability expansion increments and support the development of best practice definitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of virtual product creation workflows & software applications by working together with business and IT teams
• Represent the business views for virtual product creation, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the backlog
• Support development of software application (programming)
• Support the creation of training documentation for virtual product creation
• Act as main connection between business and IT teams to ensure understanding of processes involved in virtual product creation
• Assist in the refinement of virtual product creation backlog items to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to support business needs
• Check data quality all along the virtual creation process and support all required steps for data improvements
• Take over the responsibility for key steps within the visualization process workflow development, and ensure key business interests of the digital strategy are pursued
• Support the visualization process by managing important process steps such as prepare 3D data, refine 3D data for visualization, refine 2D graphics data, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in programming languages such as Python, C# as well as 3D related programming knowledge
• Interest in designing and developing prototype applications
• 2D, 3D graphic and design software application experience
• Motivation to learn about new processes within a digital product creation process
• Solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
• Problem Solving, understand and realize user requests

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• College/ university degree or comparable degree/education in technologies, industrial design, media informatics with computer graphics background or equivalent

• Alternatively, combination of relevant education, experience, and training 
• First relevant work experience required
