Purpose

Support the development of science-based and holistic direction for key sustainability topics that are part of our sustainability strategy, including decarbonization, circularity and biodiversity. Manage the development of guidance materials and policies of priority topics to ensure clear direction to core functions tasked to execute agreed actions. Contribute to industry working groups in developing industry standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the development of guidelines of priority topics in the area of decarbonization, circularity and biodiversity in close collaboration with other functions
• Contribute to key external expert working groups for selected priority topics in order to develop harmonized industry standards
• Manage the development of Science Based Targets and respective reporting
• Manage business cases, pilots and implementation to incubate priority topics
• Manage the development of internal training and communication material
• Provide corporate communications with relevant facts, data and progress updates for internal and external communication

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

• Expertise in environmental science, nature and biodiversity
• Experience with Science-based Targets Framework
• Experience in contributing to industry working groups
• Advanced x-industry expert network in decarbonization, circularity, biodiversity
• Knowledge of footwear, apparel and accessories manufacturing, or related industry
• Experience in managing x-functional projects with a positive track record
• Effective communication skills Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Qualifications

1. Four-year university degree, preferably master’s degree in environmental science, CSR or related fields
2. Minimum 4 years’ work experience in sustainability with a focus on decarbonization, circularity and biodiversity
