Senior Specialist Self Service Accounts

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support the Sales Team to achieve profitable and sustainable market share growth within the customers and categories assigned to the team, while promoting and respecting the adidas image in line with international initiatives.

Support the wider wholesale team in driving the digital development of the defined key accounts, seeking to optimize our brand representation, consumer experience and ultimately growing net sales & market share online.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of the assigned sales team - and if required - internal representation of the assigned customers as "ambassador" towards all functions and vice versa as well as support in the management of all interfaces
  • Independent coordination and management of the defined sales task area
  • Permanent and continuous efficiency improvement of all sales processes
  • Support of documentation for assigned customers and categories
  • Preparation and support of sell-in meetings (in preparation and follow-up), monitoring of order entry in the system
  • Continuous, customer-specific monitoring of sales and order book to ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply to the customer as well as identifying and exploiting sales opportunities for the customer 
  • Acquire market knowledge and leverage it (in terms of knowledge of the competitive landscape) to influence buying decisions that result in sales
  • Assist in the development and execution of creative activities with customers to positively impact brand image and drive demand with customer
  • Measuring the progress of the relevant team KPIs
  • Reporting to all supervisors in accordance with guidelines
  • Monitoring and reporting on customer and competitor activities and creating actions
  • Supporting the creation of realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance
  • Ensuring customer compliance with agreements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good business sense
  • Fluency in English and German (oral and written) is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player
  • Understanding of retail sales practices and ability to create practical and logical assortment plans based on selling space, inventory turnover and sell through.
  • General knowledge of fashion trends, colors and the ever-changing retail environment
  • Willingness to travel

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience
  • Experience in sports, sales, marketing in either the apparel/fashion/shoe or FMCG industries
