Purpose and overall relevance for the organisation:

Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas.

Adidas is involved in multiple events as the host and/or partner. Adidas has a duty of care to responsibly deliver safe and secure events to ensure the wellbeing of employees, brand ambassadors, VIPs and external guests. Event risk planning allows for potential threats to be identified and mitigated while providing cost effective solutions by utilising internal and external expertise. These events often involve large employee numbers and the display of sensitive product as well as Executive Board and/or Advisory Board attendance.

This position will support the department during the planning, monitoring and delivery of events both at the Headquarters and globally. This support may include administration linked to the Event Platform, liaising with external security suppliers, creating presentations and training decks, creating security concepts and having an operational role during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of Event Risk strategy 
• Assist with planning and delivering security services for Campus and off-Campus events
• Create Security Concepts as instructed
• Co-responsibility of Event platform and assist with data management
• Liaise with adidas stakeholders to drive the security topic and assist with the compliance of all stakeholders. Understand the business focus for events and enable this focus whilst ensuring complete compliance
• Work with external vendors to support the security concept 
• Support Incident and crisis management planning/ training under guidance of Crisis Management team
• Support department communications to the broader adidas family including drafting inhouse announcements
• General support of the Corporate Security function
• Occasional travel to events both within Germany and externally

Key Relationships: 

• Within adidas-Group – Event stakeholders, including adidas BU´s Global Events, internal Events, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance dept., and Markets

• External – Event Agency liaison, event services suppliers, Security providers, local government and town authorities, local emergency services

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Written and verbal communication skills (English & German)
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel 2010, Word, Access 2010) skills 
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and plan
• Ability to dynamically adapt to a changing situation

• Previous operational events experience
• Data analysis would be useful

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

• Education with Degree level qualification
• Previous Project Management experience preferred
• Security experience preferred or at least a strong interest in Security
