Senior Manager Franchise
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Senior manager will lead the strategic Plan across the country and ensure the business operates to maximize performance with agreed global franchise processes.
They will partner with cross functions and ensure seamless customer mono-brand experience through the sharing and implementation of latest tools, information, training, and proactive follow-up to ensure we drive premium adidas experience at every touchpoint and exceed agreed KPI targets for net sales and profitability.
They will ensure focus on the development of a trading and service culture across Franchise monobrand environments and be the voice to ensure we capitalize on the right opportunities identified to continuously elevate our brand and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and constantly improve E2E Franchise Business Model.
- Manage the Franchise collaborations by coordinating all involved functions.
- Identify Franchising opportunities and partners jointly with the management team.
- Operate and manage all day-to-day tasks related to the Franchise business and collaborations.
- Define and communicate the Franchise strategy for the Markets, including (but not limited to) store rollout plan, Franchise partner strategy, financial targets, operational KPI targets, operational execution, priorities, etc.
- Lead regular business reviews and top to top meetings.
- Ensure up to date and compliant trade terms, contracts, and legal compliance.
- Manage and constantly assess the existing portfolio of stores (openings, closings, contracts, locations) in order to improve profitability.
- Manage the opening process for new stores, by approving new store locations, providing official sign-off for new stores, and monitoring the operational processes related to the store opening (store development, layout planning, marketing, etc.),
- Support the creation of operational guidelines in close cooperation with the DTC Excellence and Retail operations teams and ensure local implementation.
- Develop assortment plan and review pre-order buy to all Franchise stores.
- Assess and advise how to improve performance of the Franchising business model.
- Track, analyze and report the Market Franchise business development on a regular basis, including Franchise P&L, sell-in, store performance (operational KPIs), store profitability, Franchise partner profitability
- Support the implementation of the adidas Retails processes to the Franchise business.
- Responsible for market sales forecasting and business plans in collaboration with the team and demand planning team
- Support project and take ownership of initiatives to improve existing tools.
- Be the driving force to ensure the consumer is always at the heart of everything we do.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail and/or sales Industry.
Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing and negotiating
Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English; Arabic Language proficiency preferred.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in business, 4-6 years
Sales experience
Franchise and/or Retail Experience
Knowledge of sports retail / franchise desired.
