Purpose:  

A key player in Global Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Own and manage the seasonal costing process to achieve sustainable and competitive cost for sourcing adidas products, support improvements to Costing Performance, as well as providing insights to Leadership for decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead seasonal supplier LOH publication and negotiations (if any) for Global source base by analyzing macroeconomic developments, supplier specific cost drivers and efficiency plans. 
• Provide costing leadership with insights on cost driver developments and supplier competitiveness using systematic costing and benchmarking methods.
• Enable fact-based decision making for Sourcing Allocation Team to achieve cost saving.
• Ensure the costing related information in relevant data bases and development systems on a seasonal basis, communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead any seasonal and ad hoc reports to the Costing team with key insights into cost driver and framework developments.
• Proactively upskill on industry and costing relevant knowledge, embrace information-sharing to leverage learnings.
• Work closely with other functional areas within Liaison Offices (LOs) and in Head Offices (HQ), ensuring all departments and functional areas work together to achieve adidas' overall objectives.

• Participate in discussions with Product Operations (POPs) and Sourcing counterparts to continuously identify opportunities for cost mitigation.
• Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.
• Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

• University degree
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Multinational Company environment e.g. top tier consulting, project management, fashion, supply chain management background
