Join our Global Consumer Acquisition team!

 

During the period of your internship, you will support the Global Consumer Acquisition team and will learn and explore the role of an Assistant Product Owner. As an Intern at adidas Digital you are assisting a Product Owner who is responsible for the quality and strategic impact of a medium or complex digital product. Together with your agile team you work on continuously improving and evolving the assigned products in order to optimize the value for the consumer.

Collaborating with IT and markets to define a robust product backlog, managing capability expansion increments and contributing to new functionalities & best practice definitions are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other Digital areas to drive consumer engagement and satisfaction, as well as incremental revenues by delivering digital experiences with the Focus on KPI`s #of members, opt-in rates and enrichment rate.

 

 

Your tasks:

 

 Assisting a (Sr.) Product Owner with:

 

Product Strategy & Delivery

  • Contribute to the optimization of the product’s value for the consumer and the company (ROI).
  • Monitor product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates. Raise delivery issues on-time.
  • Support the specification of user stories where required.

 

Stakeholder management

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding the product, its features, etc.

 

Backlog Management

  • Contribute to prioritizing the items in the product backlog. Specify the definition-of-done for backlog items in cooperation with the Product Owner and the product team.
  • Support the refinement of the product backlog in collaboration with the (Sr.) Product Owner to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.

 

Monitoring

  • Monitor, optimize and enhance the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product.
  • Use data sources and feedback loops to help the team to focus on the right enhancements.

 

 

 

Potential projects

 

  • Supporting and driving Invite a Friend roll-out across both brands for existing touchpoints in close alignment with Market and global stakeholders
  • Managing referral program and identify new opportunities for Invite a friend feature including briefing with UX, Research, Solution Design, Stakeholder alignment  
  • Prioritized Contextual Enrichment consumer journeys: UX, Research, Solution Design, Stakeholder alignment  
  • Gamification of existing signup touchpoints: UX, Research, Solution Design, Stakeholder alignment  
  • Best practice guide: review and create an acquisition best practice guide with other stakeholders

 

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • Bachelor or Master student of Business, Digital Marketing, or eCommerce
  • Enrolled in university/college for the complete duration of the internship [6 months]
  • Domain relevant knowledge is a big plus
  • Good knowledge of Agile working methods e.g., Scrum/Kanban is a plus
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
  • Basic understanding of IT
  • Good communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent command of English both verbal and written
